The location, just outside the village of Lagia, is ideal. Close enough in order to easily walk to the local taverna, yet just isolated enough to totally relax and embrace the surroundings. The view from the main balcony is superb. We spent endless hours just sitting there and soaking in the beauty of the eastern Mani. The house itself has some beautifully executed stone work, in perfect traditional style. It is quite large - our family of four was super-comfortable. Very well cleaned and extremely well-stocked on everything one might need (from extra towels, bed sheets and pillows, to all kitchen equipment). Large bathroom, with a washing machine.
The doors, windows and insect screens are on the oldish side, some of them do not even close properly. Some of the furniture is dated and just feels out of place.
