About this apartment rental
Newly renovated unit on the ground floor at the magnificent Gulf Shores Plantation Resort. Everything in the condo has been rebuilt due damage from hurricane Sally. This rebuild has given the condo and building a fresh look with everything being brand new.
The unit has 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bathroom, children’s bunk beds in the hall, and a queen size memory foam sleeper sofa in the living room. Due to being on the ground floor, there are limited views of the ocean, but the beach and pool are a short walk away. You will have the convenience of parking right outside the condo making unloading your vehicle easy, also no waiting on the elevator or climbing stairs. The grill is located right off the private patio, along with a grassy area for the children to play. The unit is in building 4 which has a huge dome indoor pool, large indoor hot tub, steam room, and fitness room.
The unit has a 55” smart tv in the living room and 43” smart tv in the bedroom, both have cable and free internet throughout the unit. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, ice maker in refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, cooking utensils, linens, towels, iron, and ironing board. Housekeeping provides a starter kit, one roll of toilet tissue, one roll of paper towels, one load of dish detergent, and a trash bag. The coin operated washer and dryer are just down the hall from the unit.
This Resort is beach front with the following amenities:

- 1 indoor pool
- several tennis courts
- several lighted volley ball courts

I was on the street level so no ocean view but I knew that. Room was clean and ample supplies plenty of parking well lit at night. I didn't use the pools but I could see they were clean and people were enjoying them. It was quiet, beach was beautiful and I rented the chairs but plenty of room for whatever chair or canopy anyone would want to bring. One drawback i didn't realize i was several miles from the main highway and not much to choose from for food but once at the highway I was very close to restaurants, stores and such. Traffic was moderate but after Memorial Day things will get much busier.

Enjoyed my stay very much. Adorably decorated, enjoyed the short walk to the beach, the pools were great. Because it is a first floor the view was limited but you could see the sand dunes and the boardwalk was nearby. The bed and linens were very clean. It just could have used a once over but not dirty. I will stay there again if it’s just 2 people. Thank you very much!

Great condo for a weekend trip! The host was very responsive to messages. The address took us to the wrong building but security was helpful. Overall great stay in a quiet area but not far from any activity you would want to do.
