The Put-in-Bay Waterfront Condos are the ultimate waterfront lodging choice for your Lake Erie island getaway. What is your happiest vacation memory? There are no other rentals on Put-in-Bay with such an impressive and expansive view of the water as you relax out on your lakeview back deck. This lovely unit resides on some of the most prime Lake Erie real estate. It is the newest unit built on Put-In-Bay, opened in July 2016.
This upper level unit has four bedrooms, three full baths, two large lakeside decks, a cozy poolview deck, and has a capacity of up to twelve guests. Guests gain access to the condo through a coded door lock. This is very convenient as keys are eliminated from the equation. We weren't aware that the island closes everything up for the season, seemed like a ghost town. Still had a nice, quiet time. Loved the view from both balconies and hearing the the water hit the shore. Plenty of space for two couples. Would be a great place for a girls trip too. Four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.I only cooked one meal but had all the essentials we needed in the kitchen. Overall place was nice and clean. Only recommendations would be to add a TV in every bedroom, only the master had one.

It was wonderful having 3 full bathrooms. The deck patio has a nice 8 person table but there were so many spiders, we didn’t spend much time out there. Also, this property is “waterfront” as opposed to “beach” front. There are sewage treatment release pipes that empty out to the lake right in front of the condo. I’m sure the water is clean but aesthetically, it was unpleasant. Staff was wonderful and very attentive to requests. Nice location and downtown was a short golf cart drive away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back

This is my 2nd or 3rd time renting a condo at Put in Bay Condos, and I have not had one bad experience at any time! Love the condos I have stayed in thus far! Very clean and love the decor and rooms. Sitting out on the balcony and overlooking the water makes you feel like you're not even in Ohio. It makes me feel like I'm in Florida! Oh! And we loved swimming in the pool! We will definitely be back!

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at our condo, the first thing we noticed was the cobwebs with dead bugs in the corners, dead spiders on the ceilings, and the amount of cobwebs and spiders on the patio. After we had been there a while we noticed our grandkids feet were black from the dirty floors. We called and they did send the cleaning people out and they took care of the cobwebs and spiders and “mopped” the floors. That helped but the kids feet were still filthy, those floors obviously hadn’t been mopped in weeks, I also think they’re just using water! Now to the kitchen, it was barely stocked, no cookie sheets, no strainer, we had to use foil to cook anything in the oven! Also, there wasn’t any dressers Or anywhere to put your suitcase, only an nightstand! Overall, the staff was friendly but we’re VERY disappointed with our stay.

The property was great. The property manager was very responsive to our requests. The only thing that was a problem, was that there were no dressers and only one nightstand in 2 of the bedrooms. No mirrors either in the bedrooms. For women these items are pretty essential. Otherwise, great trip!

Everything was overall very nice! It just had some small cosmetic repairs needed. Also, the unit could’ve used a little better cleaning but maybe I just noticed because I had small children crawling around. The balconies could definitely use a good cleaning though so they could be utilized more. We would definitely stay again!

Plenty of space for all of us. Staff were so helpful, even helped us carry a large cooler up the stairs. The balconies looking over the lake were the perfect place for morning coffee! We did have an issue with the garbage disposal not working and backing up into the sink but after calling, the maintenance man was up in 20 minutes and had it fixed for us in no time. Would highly recommend staying in condo 202!

This condo was perfect for our family. It was a great location for walking the island and to walk downtown. My only concern was that we couldn’t use the patio at night for all the flying insects. Water pressure was very low and it needs to be increased. Other than that is was great. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a nice place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in these condos before and do plan to again in the future BUT THIS Condo did not look like it had been cleaned! especially with current pandemic you would think cleaning and sanitizing would be important! Crumbs all over floors/carpet No broom or Vacuum in this condo for us to even clean up. We understand the bugs from the slider getting in BUT they can at least wipe down the webs inside slider on walls! Thankfully we came over to Island on private boat so spent little time in Condo. sheets/pillow cases still had wrinkles like someone slept on them so very doubtful they were even changed! I know other people staying there same days had same complaints they actually called and complained But since we didn't have to stay there we could stay on boat we chose to enjoy our little time on Island rather then waiting for someone to address our concerns. Last year when we stayed (another condo, few doors down) It was clean and we had broom, & vacuum to clean up. not sure if you changed cleaning companies or what BUT these condos need better cleaning and should be Sanitized after each stay !!! very disappointed

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don't plan on checking in before exactly 4 pm. We were told the unit was already cleaned but we were not allowed to enter. Not good from the customer service side. Or if you rented their golf cart..we actually saw the one numbered on contract just sitting there ready to go. They wouldn't let us have it until after 4??!n Because they use a code as a key, they make no exceptions. Location perfect. Beautiful views. Right by the water. Their land by the lake was an eyesore. Newer unit. Use a code not a key...liked that. MAY FLIES season. We had to ask for someone to get rid of the million dead may flies. An inch of dead flies. After check in they did do a great job cleaning one of the 2 decks. The upper level deck was nasty. Ever single deck on the other units were clean. There were no towels and was told they forgot to provide them. I loved the air temperature but warn those who get cold. There are zero blankets except the comforter on each bed. One thing I found odd was the "master bedroom" (The one with a deck, 2nd floor gorgeous view of the lake) did not have an attached bathroom. The unit is large and pretty clean. Cobwebs and spiders on kitchen night fixture. Sticky bedside table from a ring left by a beverage from previous guest. Checking out-I called their number to ask what to do with the golf cart key. I was told someone would be right up to get it. 45 minutes later I had to call and was told to leave it on the countertop. Pool nice! Plenty of space to relax and watch the kids swim. Hallways and stairs nice and clean. We would stay here again in the future. The unit was nicely decorated, clean furniture, and we loved the ceiling fans. Just because one of their cleaners did a poor job doesn't mean we won't return. These issues we had can be fixed by the management.

The pool was clean and nice. There were little things like a lot of spiders on the deck/patio furniture, all of the towels were in the downstairs bathroom instead of evenly dispersed between the bathrooms, no garbage cans in the bathrooms, so there was some trash that pervious people threw under the sinks, but overall the property was nice and I'd stay again.

Kitchen and seating areas for meals were also well fitted. Given it is a condo style building, privacy is tough when nearby units are occupied and also using the outdoor deck. Taxis were very easy to get around the island. It was worth staying away from downtown for the view and updated building. We had a light bulb out and within 20 minutes it was fixed by security, great service!

Reviewer Comments: Spacious rental situated near Miller Ferry yet fairly close to downtown and all the action and eateries. Golf cart rental is advisable in order to get around. It was clean upon arrival but not spotless and everything worked. Beds were comfortable. Not a lot of furniture in the living / dining room if your party does consist of 12 people. Bath towels were worn and scratchy; overdue for replacement. Cookware was old and worn and needed replacing. Quiet. Nice swimming pool. Parking is limited, so when told only one vehicle per condo, they mean it. Might consider renting again but would likely explore cheaper accommodations if rental fee is being paid by a single party as opposed to being split among several parties.
