Lourdas Bay View

Beautiful property. Great facilities with everything you could need and more. Lovely garden and view.

A few minor items appeared to be work in progress but this didn't distract from our stay.

Our stay was overall amazing. The house was exceptional, the garden offered great views and Vaso and her husband Makis were lovely hosts who cared about every detail. The location of Lourdas Bay View is also very central (although it may not look like that on the map) and allows you to reach any point of the island very quickly. We will definitely come back!

Nothing not to like.

This was our second visit to Kefalonia as we loved the island so much we went back again, and we weren't disappointed! We were staying up in Fiskardo for the first part of our vacation and Vaso was available on messaging to answer any queries we had prior to our transfer to her property. The accommodation was modern, clean, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. When we arrived we were surprised at the amount of land the property has and the abundance of fruit trees. Loads of space for parking and the views from the terrace / outside seating area and all around are amazing. There is quite a steep drive down to the property's rear parking area, but you get used to this after the first time. Internally the kitchen has everything you will need. Big fridge which had a very appreciated welcome pack! There is a utility room with a washing machine which was great. All the rooms have AC for those warmer days and evenings. Each door has an insect screen which allows all the doors to be opened and a refreshing breeze to blow through the house without any bugs flying in. The bedrooms are spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable. The main living area has a large sofa and a smart TV so you can log into your streaming services. Modern and clean bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. The property is located opposite a church, which on or around the 15th August there is a festival and church has food, music and dancing, finished off with fireworks. Worth a visit if you are staying around this time as it was good fun. A car is advisable as there aren't many amenities in easy walking distance. Locally there is an amazing bakery with fresh pastries and really good coffees (Freddo Cappuccinos). Loads of beaches close by, a selection of restaurants are available, we would highly recommend the 'Souvlaki House'. If you are looking for somewhere a bit more lively then Argostoli is only a 20 minute drive.
