Golden Relax Apartments

Good location but still a 20min walk into Balatonfured centre. Very comfortable apartment with lots of storage space - very well equipped

Outside space not private for the apartment booked - should be advice if travelling by train to use Balatonaracs station, not Balatonfured. Pool not open (should have opened as per booking details on 15th May but it wasn’t- could improve kitchen by having a toaster

Nem volt ilyen! Vízforralóval volt gond, kicserélték. Vihar miatt a biztosíték rosszalkodott, azt is megoldották.

Nice and comfy

The apartment itself was pretty big and comfortable. It had good logistics with a car. The big refrigerator with ice maker was a plus. The lady from management company renting out the apartment was very kind.

There is absolutely no privacy. There are other two apartments in the house and you will find many people, strangers swimming in the pool and staying long in the garden, when the area just gets too crowded. The pool is not as big as it feels on the pictures. Also note that there are some ugly large building with many terraces overlooking the garden and pool, where you spot sometimes people watching you. There were no instructions given how someone can light up the pool, so it was not ideal to swim after dark. When you are paying at least 2x or 3x times the money the other apartments do, it’s not very fair to have the same infrastructure, facilities. Sure there is a mini sauna additionally in the bigger apartment, that’s all. The pool itself is very dangerous with children as it’s really slippery and there are rough edges where children might hurt themselves. Also be careful as the pool is not very deep, not advised to jump in, which is outlined on a hardly recognizable poster. There is a small swing and playhouse in the garden for kids, but it is unstable and not fixed properly into the ground. This is also dangerous for kids. When both of my kids were using the two swings it looked like it may collapse in any second. There is a BBQ in the garden, without any additional tools and infrastructure provided. It feels like it’s there more for the sake of design and beauty and not to be used by the guests. There is no cleaning of the apartment and exchange of towels during your stay. This is very inconvenient during a longer stay, like we had for a week. The apartment gets dirty in a few days. Also note that the house is located close to a the noisy motor road and train line. It’s not very calm, relaxing or silent in the garden, which becomes pretty annoying after a while. It was also annoying that there was only one TV in the living room, but no TV in the two bedrooms. Additionally the TV was an old release, which was not a smart TV.
