Sea Pearl

Very close to the sea, spacious, sea view, good infrastructure inside the apartment (two bathrooms with a shower each, induction stove, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer).

Tedious way up, you have to open three doors to get to the apartment, and the second door has to be unlocked and locked everytime you pass through it. There is only one key. The elevator is old and a bit scary.

Do not stay there ! Or any property managed by Homerti ! This property has been the holiday from hell. And Homerti hides behind an email address and an unmanned telephone number ! Booking was easy via Booking.com and the views of the apartment had us booked quickly for a week stay in Daimus. Usually welcomed in any rental by a bottle of Cava and a small pack of utilities (say a bar of soap, couple of dishwasher tabs, a sponge, etc…) we were left scrambling to the local shop for the bare necessities, as the cleanliness of the apartment was well below reasonable standards. Greasy and dirty countertops, appliances, ustensiles, even some leftover crumbs under the microwave, topped with soap scums in showers, dirty toilets and toothpaste around sinks ! Nevermind that, our welcome pack was what seemed to be the local sewage plant ! Couldn’t enjoy the beautiful views, as we were making the place clean, the smell of sewage was getting stronger. Clearly the showers and sinks were at fault as water was sitting in trays as we showered. A simple weekly cleaning and clearing does the trick in my book. We contacted many times Homerti the property manager, but to no avail , as the office was closed for the weekend, early on Friday ! We settled in for the first night, keeping windows opened, but we barely slept given the stench. More calls the next morning to Homerti, who, after insisting strongly, sent a “technician “ towards the end of the day. As we were out for fresh air, we got back to the property to find that the person had simply poured pipes unblocker down the showers holes. Problem is, months or years of sand, soap and humans bits won’t clear that easy ! You at least need to clear some of the blockage ! The bad smell was even worse now festering with chemicals. Homerti was unreachable, as we were now well into the weekend. No one even answered the emergency telephone number. So we made another trip to the local shop to get some more chemical unblocker.

Then we decided to clear the 2 showers trays beforehand ourselves. We removed piles of sand, soap, scum, hair and humans bits from there. My beautiful Spanish lunch did not survive… Pouring more chemicals down the drains, water was still sitting in showers and the smell was still so strong. Clearly this is a much bigger problem. Another bad night of sleep and still no contact from Homerti, had us rent another apartment, as clearly major works needed to happen for this property to be rentable. The rest of our holiday was enjoyable, only disturbed by our constant chasing of Homerti for a resolution/compensation. 2 weeks on, still no apology from Homerti, and a firm refusal to any compensation towards our stay. Unacceptable behaviour by Homerti the property manager, an apartment that for health and safety reasons, should not be rented out and to date no resolution from Booking.com (Level 3 genius customer with 20 plus years of yearly bookings and never a complaint), I’ll keep you posted on that. Again, DO NOT BOOK this apartment or any property managed by Homerti.

Fully renovated, clean, very well equipped flat. Better than the photos. Amazing view. Right on the beach by the good restaurants. Safe for babies. Would definitely go again. One of the best accommodations i've been to so far. Highly recommended.

There is nothing not to like

modern and recently refurbished property. good location. dishwasher and coffee machine included. also a dryer. modern kitchen. two full bathrooms. comfortable beds.

AC doesn’t lower the temperature below 27C and homerti just said they will see what the owner wants to do about it, and never got back to me. maintenance tech said it likely needs a refrigerant charge and text on booking - nothing happened. Also has a cockroach problem (not an infestation but 2-3 per day).

La ubicación, apartamento reformado recientemente.

Limpieza muy deficiente. Textiles de cama con manchas y suelo con arena y pelusas. Salida a las 10h, demasiado temprano. Pedimos cuna y no estaba ni montada.
