|Hotel was modern but I found it lovely. There was a great breakfast and car park. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Lake Bodensee from where people could venture further afield. The morning staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english. The hotel is also a 20 minute walk to the Zepellin Museum but most of the walk is along the banks of the lake so didnt feel a long walk. I would happily go back fopr a longer stay to explore the area.
Arrival was a bit of an issue as reception was unmanned. Apparently I was supposed to have received an email with the entry code and a note as to how to get our keys but nothing received. This was a bit annoying especially as we arrived in the time period we advised when booking.

Nice, comfortable, and clean modern room. The location is a bit out of the traditional hotel areas of Friedrichshafen, but it was perfect for the purpose of the journey. Worth keeping in mind if the idea is to stay around the Bodensee and the restaurant/lakeside area. No A/C but a big fan, which was fine, but for light sleepers, the sound could be annoying.
The pillows were on the soft side, and during check-in, the receptionist only spoke German. So if you are not familiar with the language, could be a bit of an issue

Bit of a walk into town and could hear quite a bit of noise from the hallway of other guests returning to their rooms

Vey nice hotel (or should I say Boutique Hotel?)
It is located in a calm neighbourhood, within walking distance of the Lake Shore and the city center.
Rooms in a pristine condition, very nice bathroom with a large walk-in shower (you could probably fit 4 people in it).
Although not included in the basic fare, the buffet breakfast is great value for money.
There is a private parking lot, even featuring a charger for those travelling with an EV.
Last but not least, you get the Friedrichshafen card, that offers a bunch of rebates and free usage of the public transportation
I wish I had stayed a bit longer
