This fabulous 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is in the walking district and only a few short blocks from the beach. Exquisitely decorated with fine art and designer furnishings. Entertain or sunbathe in the large top story patio and enjoy a glass of wine while watching hot air balloons and the sun set over the blue Pacific ocean. After just a few hours here, you’ll be immersed in the laid-back lifestyle of a friendly Southern California beach community.

Our place is attractive and comfortable for both adults and children with a large master suite with Cal King bed, sitting area, large walk-in closet, expansive double bath, and private patio. The second bedroom has a queen bed, walk-in closet, private deck and adjacent full bath, plus a computer desk and monitor. The third bedroom has two twin beds with memory foam that convert to a king if desired.

The living room has a 65” 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. The Master bedroom has a 40” HDTV. Each room has an overhead remote fan and additional high-quality inflatable twin bed is available.

Feel the invigorating Ocean breeze when you go for an early morning walk on the beach and catch a glimpse of the pelicans, dolphins, and numerous sea birds. Of course there are surfers and even whales -in season. Located on a quiet street in the “walking district”, our beach house backs up to beautiful Glen Park.

With the playground for the kids and picnic tables for all, you can play a game of tennis, basketball, or volleyball or relax on the lawn and read a book. Within the “walking district” you’ll find all the amenities and services you’ll want including fine and casual dining, a gourmet food market (Seaside Market), Patagonia surf clothing, Starbucks coffee, the library, post office, gym, cleaners, and surf shops.

Have breakfast at the local surfers café Pipes, lunch at the healthy fare - Ki’s, watch the big game at the 101 sports bar - and dinner at one of the beach front restaurants such as the Chart House, Las Olas, and Pacific grill -, all within short walking distance.

Cardiff-by-the-Sea is a charming seaside village with wonderful unique beaches for walking, bird watching, surfing, boogie boarding and swimming. The coastal climate is amazingly comfortable and moderate all year round. The sunsets are spectacular.

Enjoy all the nearby attractions -- The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, Legoland, Disneyland to the north, La Costa Spa, the high style of Cedros Design District and Del Mar - home of the Del Mar racetrack and fairgrounds. Hike in the cliffs at Torrey Pines or play a round of golf at the famous Torrey Pines Golf Resort - site of the 2008 US Open. Within a short ride there are endless (90) beautiful golf courses to choose from with the perfect weather and views typical of north county San Diego.

San Diego is less then 30 minutes away. Be sure to visit Sea World and the world famous San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, wander through the museums and gardens of Balboa Park, the timeless settlement at Old Town. Dine in the romantic evening at the Gas Lamp quarter. There is whale watching, hang gliding, dinners cruises, tours of the USS Midway and the Star of India sailing ship, even a visit to Point Loma and the famous Del Hotel on Coronado Island. As a fun alternative, take the Coaster train down to San Diego and Old Town. You can even take your bike with you on board.
