About this house rental
Renovated colonial style home. Enjoy a spacious home with large living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms with 4 beds and 2.5 bathrooms. Perfect for a larger group or a longer stay. Just a few miles drive to Old Town Winchester which includes numerous restaurants, bars, shopping and some kind of event, like-- the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival! Our house is located about 65 miles West of Washington D.C. Near by to other scenic attractions as well -Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, and Harper's Ferry!
This house has been a long term rental for 12 years but it was our first home and the start of our family so it will always be special. We enjoy this experience so much with our other property that we decided to renovate it and do another vacation rental!
The house is fully equipped with everything you need to cook with and all the linens you could need. Full size appliances--fridge, stove & dishwasher. Washer and dryer on the main level. Upstairs is a King bed in the master and three Full beds. A shower in the Master bedroom and shower/tub on the 2nd level as well. All bedrooms are upstairs. A pack and play portable crib and dining booster seat is available for babies. Living room has a 50 inch tv with large sectional sofa. Kuerig machine for coffee drinkers.
Please only park in the driveway. No street or yard parking is permitted. Please remove shoes before walking on upstairs carpet. Smoking outside only.

The house is as advertised. Comfortable with plenty of space. The dinner room table is perfect for eating and playing board games. The location was convenient for our family to meet and close to stores and restaurants. The festive Christmas decorations added to the ambiance. Crystal is friendly and responsive. Crystal’s house was perfect for our family to celebrate Christmas!

This property was fantastic. It was clean and spacious and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The property is well kept in every regard. The location made it easy to get downtown and we were very close to the wineries. We plan on making this an annual trip and will be sure to book here again.

Neighborhood was quiet and backyard enjoyable. Everything was provided which was surprising, but nice. Hubby was happy there was cable, which made me happy. Close to groceries and highway.

My husband, friends and I decided to do a weekend getaway to Virginia wine country. We were looking for something close to a lot of vineyards, but that allowed us to have a kitchen and all stay in one place. We were THRILLED with our choice! Crystal was so responsive and even reached out when the house was ready for us to check in. We absolutely loved having two full bathrooms, and had plenty of room for four adults. We are already talking about coming with a 3rd couple in the spring!As far as location- we thought it was perfect for what we wanted to do. Very close to downtown and wineries/breweries were easily accessible from the highway! We had a driver pick us up at 10 am, we visited 6 wineries (taking our time) and returned around 8 in the evening. Like we said, perfect weekend getaway! The house was clean, well stocked, and so welcoming. We cannot wait to visit again!!
