The house was very nice, newer, and in great shape. It's one of the better VRBOs we have rented. Everyone loved the house. We took the shuttle to ski, which worked well. I found it a little confusing before we got there (looking at the shuttle website), thinking we would need to transfer buses. However, the Upper Warrior shuttle has a stop on Columbine Road that is a 0.2 mile walk to the QuickSilver chair. Also, there is a path at the end of Gold King Way that you can ski. It comes out on Lower Lehman. We took the shuttle until the last day because we were unsure about the trail. It was VERY straightforward, and I would recommend it for an intermediate or advanced skier. I saw tracks coming back into the neighborhood from above, but we didn't attempt to find that trail.Again, overall, this was a wonderful house. It will be our first choice next time we come to Breck.

We enjoyed our stay as the house is very cozy. A short walk to a ski trail which forms as a great "ski-in/ski-out" to avoid the bus or driving to the slope. Hot tub was great and only hiccup was the main fireplace did not ever work. We would definitively stay in this house again.

Property was perfect for a family of six. Comfortable and clean. Close to ski resort. Kids enjoyed hot tub after skiing.

Beautiful property! (But unresponsive property manager) Our Christmas present to our family was a Breckenridge ski trip. There were eight of us ranging from 12 to old enough to be great-grandparents (though she couldn’t join us.) This home resonated with my wife and I when we saw the listing. Out of downtown but not too far, close to the shuttle route, hot tub which we enjoyed and a fire pit which we couldn’t use without a lot of work to clear the deck of snow and ice, so laziness prevailed. The appliances and lighting were top of the line, furniture and décor appeared almost new, and gas fireplaces in several rooms. There was also a local fox that strolled through the back yard every day. There are sleds in the garage to use at Carter Park for some free fun for the kids, and the grandparents, too. It’s in a neighborhood with other homes but we didn’t feel like we were surrounded by homes. This place is a dream home! Our rating of the property is five stars. Our only real problem was the management company – Vacasa. (Renters reading this, the rest is boring detail and for the owner, whom I hope reads this, but read on if you wish.) I have a hard time doing this because I have always believed one should praise in public and criticize in private, but this is the only way I can reach all the way to the owner according to Vrbo help chat. Vacasa was uncommunicative, unorganized, and generally worthless. When we arrived, the garage door opener would not work, nor would the large living room gas fireplace – which was one of the amenities that drew us. Several of us gave them a try using the instructions in our rental documents, to no avail. The cleaning crew (who had done a good job) came by as we were moving in Monday afternoon, shoveled a path to the front door and asked if we needed anything. We requested some more towels because we had reserved Monday-Friday. I notified Vacasa about the garage door pad and fireplace and never heard back from them with towels or repair service. On Wednesday after breakfast, we used the kitchen disposal and slightly nasty water from under the sink poured onto the floor. We put down paper towels to soak up much of it and I called and told Vacasa we had a sink leak and they said they would send someone out to take care of it. Late afternoon, we returned and no one had shown to fix anything...[much more to this story but Vrbo says I'm out of room. Hoping for an owner's response. No money or credit, just a response.]
