About this cottage rental
Located in commutting distance from City of Toronto (one hour north of Toronto) on North shore of Kempenfelt Bay , the best part of Lake Simcoe, with a little private beach and 150 ft shorline. Only minutes drive to Barrie. Close to all the amenities and convenience of the city yet it is in a country of tranquility. The house has one King Room, 2 Quen rooms, 1 Twin Bed room(2 beds), and one Sitting room with a Double Sofa bed on 2nd floor. Big size eat-in kitchen with Gas stove, stainless Fridge, a formal good size dining room for 8 to 12 people, a lake view sitting room with a double size sofa bed, and a huge living room separated by two sections with two sets of couches. Almost all rooms has extraordinary lake view. Private sandy beach along the shoreline.

The house is large, but note the bedrooms are linked. There are two off the main corridor then a spare room that you walk through to a double bedroom which then has a door to a bathroom. That bathroom can be walked through to a room on a mezzanine level with the nice double bed. Overall it best suits a family, or families. It is a lake house, and hence, whilst everything works, it could do with modernising and updating. To be fair, that is probably reflected in the price of the rental.There are two single kayaks and one double kayak plus life jackets.

Our stay at this home was quite nice. There are a lot of sleeping spaces including comfortable futons outside of the actual bedrooms. The rooms on the main floor are large which is nice for multiple families. The house had 2 separate staircases leading upstairs which helped with the awkwThere are 2 picnic tables just outside the kitchen where we ate all of our meals, and a nice seated area on the back deck.

The place was in excellent condition! Great spot right on the water with lots of room for activities! Luke was a great host and responded quickly to messages. Would definitely recommend this place for larger groups!
