New Modern Home near Atlantic Station with Balcony and Rooftop Deck

In town for son’s graduation. Excellent location. Walking distance to campus and midtown. Clean property. As described. Easy check in/out. Perfect for our family.

Convenient and walking distance from Atlantic Station with many food and shopping options. The house is the nicest in the neighborhood and is in a block that is more rundown that the other blocks closer to Atlantic Station, but we never felt unsafe. Lots of steps because it is upstairs unit and three levels. Furniture in living area isn’t comfortable and could use more lighting. But overall a nice place where we would stay again.

This house was a nice venue for our bridal weekend. It was very clean, bright, and spacious. The photos on the listing look so beautiful but we had so many issues. They did change the couch in the living area to a smaller black couch that seats less than the white one pictured and looks too small for the space. Also the blue futon in the loft area is gone so there is no longer a sitting/sleeping option In that space. Parking is limited to 3 cars on your side of the driveway, there is no street parking as it’s very narrow. There is parking available in the driveway next door at a house that is unoccupied and missing a front door. .The house does not match the surrounding neighborhood and you will think that Waze is sending you to the wrong place as you approach the house for the first time. The kitchen is so poorly equipped with basic items such as plates/place settings, glasses, mugs, forks, etc to accommodate the capacity of this house. I can’t stress this enough. Everything was mismatched and incomplete. There were literally 4 mugs of 3 different styles/pattern. If you plan to prepare even a simple meal in this kitchen bring a sponge, kitchen towels, a pasta pot, a colander, a cutting board, serving plates/bowls as there were none available. Also bring extra towels for the bathroom and liquid hand soap. Only 2 towel sets were given per bathroom including the upstairs bathroom that serviced 2 double occupancy rooms. The showers have good pressure and a really cool shower feature with a rain head, cascade waterfall, body sprays, and hand held shower wand. Bathroom number 2 is missing a glass sliding door panel so the owner placed a spring loaded shower rod with plastic curtain. The rod is secured to the upper railing with plastic ribbon.. I’ll give marks here for ingenuity but the optics are poor. The refrigerator is falling apart. The crisper drawers are missing,, a screw is holding up the bottom shelf, and the door constantly swings wide when opened and smashes into the countertop which a loud crash bang, every single time you opened it. The rooftop was great to have. We had dinner out there one evening. There is a table that seats six on the patio. It was so pleasant in nice weather to have that space to enjoy that it was easy not to focus on the disrepair of the adjacent properties. I would expect a rental of this cost would be better equipped and maintained instead of jerry-rigged to passable functionality.
