Tórshavn Apartment - City Center

Nice little room close to the town. Adequate base for further travel. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot with good pressure. No hook for the shower so possibly not ideal for those with mobility issues of their arms as you've to hold it up. Towels and bed linens were standard. Fridge was clean and cold. Didn't use the microwave but it's there and clean.

There was a strange smell throughout the property. It could have been from the overgrown vegetation outside but I couldn't work it out. Didn't overly bother me as I just went out, and left the bathroom extractor on at night. Few hairs in the alcove upon arrival but again didn't bother me. Mildly pricey for what it is but I understand the industry in the Faroes is just starting, and for the closeness to town and the main roads, fully understandable.

Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny jak na Wyspy Owcze. Pokój był na prawdę niewielki i skromny, ale miał co trzeba. Do tego lokalizacja obiektu była na prawdę dobra, z możliwością pieszego obejścia całego miasta. Czysto, schludnie i ciepło.

W pokoju było dość ciasno i ogrzewanie nie było od razu włączone mimo potwierdzonej zadeklarowanej godziny przyjazdu, ale to tylko drobne niedociągnięcia akceptowalne w tej cenie.

Location is great, size is fine for a solo traveller. Very quiet neighborhood

The location was great and parking. Google maps however did not know the location well and kept sending me to a dead end street that didn’t connect to the parking. Better explanations should have been sent by the owners. But it’s walkable to downtown and a huge mall. Super convenient. Internet was good, small kitchen unit was nice too.

Mostly small things but that could be easily fixed; - make sure the heating is on before guest arrives since it takes the heating hours to actually heat. That was unpleasant. - better explanations for the door, it’s extremely hard to work it both to lock and unlock even after five days… - hanger for the shower head… such an easy thing to add, not having one makes showering unpleasant. Specific towel for the shower floor after a shower… seems elementary. - there were spiders on the room (quite large ones) and no way to get rid of them and every time I opened the window for fresh air as requested- a bee or two came in so I had to chase them away sometimes for a long time.
