This is a great house! We were pleasantly surprised at this property. Excellent location- about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Bikes, beach toys, and pool toys were great. We also enjoyed riding bikes for coffee, bagels, and shopping. The pool was plenty big enough for our group of 15. The kitchen is really well stocked and had everything we needed. We would all stay here again!

We had a wonderful time. This house fitted our large extended family beautifully. The room sizes were all great and we enjoyed not being right on top of each other. The pool and the proximity to the beach was great and much needed in the very hot weather of this Summer.

If you have a large family, this place is great. From the toys, bicycles, games, movie selection, pool, distance from beach, this home was just what we needed. Great value and location. The high chair, pack and play and baby gate for the stairs was a welcome surprise! My grandkids had a blast riding bikes and playing in the pool. There were pool toys in the shed outside and the kids had a blast finding surprises in there! The kitchen is very well stocked. Plenty of seating on the decks and inside. Although we think the hot tub could be updated and some of the mattresses were a little uncomfortable, we had a great experience and would stay here again in a heartbeat! A suggestion also, it would be nice to get the code to the door emailed to you instead of having to stop by the office to get it.

The beginning of our stay didn't start off great. We arrived a little early, but the rental company wouldn't let us pick up the keys early (understandable, but the office was over 30 min from the house with traffic and it was difficult with 2 small children after already driving 8 hours). We drove back to the office and arrived 30 min before check in (an employee earlier in the day told us to do this) and she refused to release the keys, because she wasn't sure if the house was cleaned yet. I explained we were at least 30 min from the house and could not possibly arrive before check in time.
She called someone and they were not able to verify the house was cleaned yet. Finally, someone called back and said it had not been cleaned yet. She handed the keys over immediately and said well it isn't clean, but you can start moving your things in. Super confusing considering I couldn't get the keys 10 mintues before that without the house being cleaned??
We arrived pretty much at the same time as the cleaners. She advised us not to come in, especially upstairs yet, because the house was "disgusting and trashed, I don't know how these people will get their security deposit back." We hung out at the pool- which had very clearly not been cleaned yet.
Next, I went to wash some things that had been spilled on during the drive. As I opened the washer, I immediately smelled vomit and it had a few towels covered in throw up in it.
Eventually we we allowed upstairs and we were hit with a disgusting and overwhelming burnt smell. It lasted the entire trip, but I think we eventually got used to it.
The location was great and close to the beach. After convincing ourselves to "let everything go" so that we could enjoy our trip, we had a great time. If those unfortunate events hadn't happened, I would have given this place 5 stars for sure. The house has a lot of space and our 4 year old still talks about the checkers and chess game on the old computer they have. If these issues were fixed, we would stay here again.
