Creekhouse secluded cabin on Creek in the mountains of northern Alabama

This trip was more than a vacation. It was a shift in perspective. We learned what peace actually feels like. Expect the presence of the Holy Spirit, he is alive, well, and very vocal on this property.

We had the most wonderful stay at Joy’s Creekside cabin! Joy’s communication was fast and responsive from the very beginning, which made planning our trip seamless. The listing was accurately described and honestly even better than the photos. The cabin is so clean, cozy, and quaint with a perfect rustic charm that immediately made us feel at home.The highlight of our entire trip was relaxing on the back porch, listening to the soothing sounds of the creek right below us. We were thrilled to spot a beaver and enjoy the magical fireflies in the evenings. My kids loved exploring and walking down the creek during the day and then rocking on the porch — it was pure magic for them. The house is surprisingly spacious, well-equipped with everything we needed, and very comfortable for a family.Joy is a fantastic host and thought of every detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend this cabin — we’d love to come back!

This was the cleanest cabin we have stayed at! The creek and fire pit were amazing, indoor areas were so clean and WiFi worked well. It was close to so many nice places to hike. Communication and check in were so easy. Cannot say enough nice things about our stay! Price was so reasonable also.

The cabin was wonderful. We enjoyed the deck in the evenings. We ate at both the local restaurants in town. We also enjoyed an amamzing dinner at the Public House in Chattanooga (need refractions). The cabin was as described. It felt very comfortable yet very beautiful. Joy, our host was very sweet and shared a lot of good local information with us. The complete trip was amazing. We will be back. We wanted to be close enough to Chattanooga to see the city, but not stay in the city. This cabin was perfect. Be sure to take a cooler with you to bring back some great tasting local homemade sausage.
