La Villa Raniero Gatti is a charming independent house with garden, inside and outside dining room, with a stunning view on the Calanchi di Bagnoregio and the Castle of San Michele in Teverina. It is located at the very end of the village, and enjoys a very quiet atmosphere. It is ideal to visit the south of Tuscania, Umbria and Lazio, including Civita di Bagnoregio which is nearby, or to enjoy the scenary.
The Villa is located 20km South of Orvieto, 1h20 from Rome (very accessible by train or car), and at less than 1 hour from the sea resort of Tarquinia, with direct access to Viterbo's Termal center (Terme dei Papi) and to the lake of Bolsena. It is located in the center of the Valle dei Calanchi national park, which includes Civita di Bagnoregio.
The Tuscia region around the Villetta is full of medieval villages, Roman and Estruscian ruins as well as hiking trails and spas.
