Home is new and very close to downtown Salida (1/2 mile), one off street parking spot, ultra-high speed internet and WiFi. The IKEA sofa makes into a Queen bed. Private ground floor Suite in a Duplex (living space above on second story) with huge, private outdoor patio with chairs and table. Big view of surrounding mountains. Mountains bike trails accessible from property, river close by. Good for a couple, solo adventurers & business travelers. Rental agreement required to sign for the protection of both parties.

This place was cozy and just the right size for me (could be nice for a couple, too)! The kitchen was stocked with many items needed to cook meals. The owner, Jaime, kept in touch with me to ensure I had all I needed during my stay! THANK YOU!!!

Basic lodging with minimum accessories - no dishwasher or clothes washer and old three burner stove. Otherwise adequate.Main problem is that there is very little insulation between floors so that in this ground-floor unit every footstep and loud voice in second floor unit can be clearly heard. The good news is that the landlord was very responsive to my complaints and called the upstairs unit to request quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The kitchen and bedroom were perfect for 2. It was a 15 Minute or so walk to downtown and the river park. Salida is a great place to visit. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The unit is very conveniently located such that we could have walked to any shops or restaurants in downtown Salida while also being located in a cute, quiet neighborhood. It is quite small but also well-equipped with anything we needed to sleep, cook, and relax comfortably. The check-in and check-out were as simple as can be, and the host was very responsive. All in all, we had a lovely time and highly recommend staying at this property.

This apartment was great! It was just two people so we used the bedroom and pull out couch. It's a short walk into town/ down to the river, and there's a nice, small private patio with some chairs and a grill. Jaime was probably the most accommodating and communicative host I've ever had, everything about the experience was easy.

Overall we had a good time here! It was a 10min walk to downtown and had everything we needed. We didn’t know there was an upstairs unit but when tenants showed up we could hear every single step, door open, or drawers shut. Made it SUPER hard to go to bed/ sleep in. Also didn’t realize there was only 1 mirror which made it cramped to get ready. We also found a swarm of bugs by the front door, 3 in the bathroom, and 2 spiders on the bed. With some small changes this place would be a 10/10!

This was a nice place, though small (as advertised). We loved being able to walk to town and the outdoor space was pleasant. Jaime was wonderful and responsive. Only negative was there was an overhead apartment where people were clumping around. Not a problem during the day, but if you go to bed earlier than the upstairs guests, it can be a bit noisy for sleeping. Overall, a nice location and stay.
