About this chalet rental

In the heart of the wild Vosges mountain, near the ski slopes in winter (30 minutes), and forests and hiking trails in the summer, enjoy the tranquility of this great historic and typical Vosges house in a private property of 7 ha, entirely renovated according to the standards of the modern comfort. You will appreciate this authentic house furnished with old and pleasantly decorated.
All prices include cleaning at departure of the tenant, firewood for the fireplace and heating in the cold season (bed linen and towels rental on request).

In 'Vosges' mountain aera, enjoy this charming and typical old house build in 1875 in a 7 hectare private estate in order according equiped with modern comfort standards; visit the country and his charming landscapes, lakes, forests; enjoy mountain sports like swimming, skiing, sailing, cycling, walking, fishing ...
Prices include cleaning upon check-out, firewood for the fireplace and heating During cold seasons (bad towels and bed sheets for rent on request).

We stayed with 8 people and a 2yo at Jean Philippe's place around new years. The house is great and really spacious. There is a lot of equipment e.g. in terms of kitchen utensils. Communication with Jean Philippe was really fast and friendly. House electrics could be renewed (power sockets) and another sofa in the living room would be great, although there are quite enough seats available. If you do not speak french, communication at key hand over/ check-out can be a bit tricky, but it will work somehow. We would definitely visit again. Thanks Jean Philippe

Es war ein schöner entschleunigender Urlaub. Leider hat es die ganze Zeit geregnet, aber da das Haus groß genug ist, hatte jeder seinen eigenen Entspannungsbereich. (Wir waren mit 5 Kindern dort). Das Haus ist liebevoll mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet, nicht steril und modern. Am Anfang war es recht klamm im Haus,(was wahrscheinlich auch der offenen Bauweise geschuldet war), aber nach 2 Tagen mit Kamin hatten wir eine gemütliche Temperatur. Für die Küche war alles ausreichend vorhanden.

Une ferme rustique et chaleureuse dans un cadre merveilleux à la lisière de la forêt... un calme absolu! On s’y sent comme chez soi et tout est super équipé.. toute la famille a adoré !

Wir verbrachten eine Woche zu acht in diesem schönen alten Bauernhaus und genossen es, jeden Tag Feuer im offenen Kamin zu machen. Super sauber war es nicht aber wenn man es einfach gemütlich und ruhig haben möchte, ist das Haus perfekt. Sehr abgeschieden und ruhig. Eigene Quelle am Haus, genug Feuerholz, bequeme Betten. Haustiere erlaubt. An- und Abreise hat problemlos funktioniert. Die Leute vor Ort sind freundlich und pünktlich. Die Klospülung ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig... :D Thermoskanne fehlt... (im Winter etwas schade). Couch ziemlich durchgesessen... Alles in allem aber ein sehr schöner Urlaub :)
