Renovated barn 8p - LOURON Valley, near Lake Génos Loudenvielle and Balnéa

We rented this property in July because its location allowed us to easily watch two stages of the Tour de France. The property, located in a quiet, hamlet was easy to find and was clean and tastefully furnished. The property has no Wi-Fi and local shops and amenities are in the next town, a 15 minute drive away or a 45 minute moderately strenuous hike away along a very picturesque trail. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, set amidst the spectacular Pyrenees, this could be a good choice for you. However, for anyone who is traveling from overseas, it is important to say that the rental fee did not include sheets or towels, or the final cleaning. None of this was mentioned in the VRBO listing, and we were surprised to receive a message a few days before our arrival telling us this. On messaging Yohann we discovered that we could rent sheets and towels for five people and four beds for an extra 80 for the five nights, which we paid in cash on departure. We took care of the cleaning ourselves. However, this made our departure morning stressful so if we were to do it again, we would inquired about paying extra for this. In addition there were no extra trash bags or laundry detergent. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery, pots, utensils, etc., but was short on basics, like salt and pepper, kitchen roll and there was only one tea towel and one hand towel provided.
