"The Bungalow" is a 2 bed / 2 bath guest house located on the grounds of Linwood, Historic Home and Gardens, a 2-acre Victorian era estate built in 1883. The house provides spacious accommodations for up to four guests with eat-in kitchen, dinning room, living room, screened in patio, private courtyard and garden. IT IS ALL ON ONE FLOOR. Bed linens and bath towels included. Amenities include dishwasher, washer/dryer, Cable TV, Wi-Fi, off street parking for two vehicles and use of the grill.

- 10 mins to Nexton Square with more great restaurants and shopping
- 25 mins from the Charleston Airport (CHS)
- 35 mins to Historic downtown (restaurants, shopping, carriage tours, etc.)
- 40 mins to Sullivan’s Island (our favorite local beach)
- 45 mins to Folly Beach (our second favorite local beach)

The Bungalow at Linwood is located on a two-acre historic estate in downtown Summerville with a beautiful garden and walking paths around the property that are open for guests to explore. There is a main house and three detached guest houses on the property. The Bungalow is the house in the middle at the end of the driveway.
Private History and Horticulture Tours of the 1883 Linwood estate are available upon request.

The bungalow was as described and the photos are an accurate depiction of the rooms and outdoors. We stayed for one week with no problems and we were very happy with the accommodations. The rates were fair and reasonable. Definitely recommend this VRBO listing to interested travelers!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful with the large Spanish moss trees. Summerville was exactly the kind of area we are looking for and will definitely be back.

The accommodations were perfect. We enjoyed the bungalow and the beautiful scenery. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The town was close and walking distance for fun.This is my second time to stay in this bungalow and I will definately be back. Thank You to the host for making this trip with my nieces another great trip.

What a wonderful stay in the Bungalow on the grounds of The Linwood Inn. Upon arriving we found a welcoming calligraphy written note from the Innkeeper Linda. Everything you might need and then some is supplied in the bungalow, all the way down to a first aid kit! We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch for breakfast and lunch. The pictures online were exactly the way everything looked. What it didn’t reflect was the charm of the bungalow with Linda’s touches of decor gave us the feeling of going back in time. The Inn’s cat “Earl Grey” was a pleasant surprise with his daily rounds on the grounds. You can feel the love that Linda and her Husband have put into the gardens and property. This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. Downtown Summerville had cute shops and we enjoyed several visits there and ate a lot of our meal local. We would highly recommend you to book this property. It’s just a short 30 minute drive to Charleston.
