Breathtaking view of the Naples Bay and Mount Vesuvius!
Both bedrooms have access to balcony/terrace which is a lovely place to have meals and enjoy the scenery.
Also includes access to a private sundeck sharing the same amazing view.
Rooms were comfortable and layout was perfect for two couples.
Host provided additional conveniences like wines available for purchase in the room.
Out of 6 apartments we stayed in throughout our travels in Italy, this one was our favorite.
The location is a little bit up the hill from Sorrento making it a little harder to get into town if you don’t have a car. Bus or taxi is recommended over walking.

Wow, this place is all about the views, and they are breathtaking. Received clear communication from Luisa before and during our stay, from advice to sightseeing etc and then arranging a taxi to Naples airport.
We received a warm welcome and shown around the villa by Michele, and the gift in the fridge on arrival went down very well…
The Villa has everything you will need and is clean and spacious, with a large balcony outside both rooms to enjoy the views of the Sorrento City, Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Also, a large sun terrace situated up a flight of stairs.
In terms of local restaurants, on the first night we ate at II Borgo and was treated to some excellent food, service and again, views that were simply stunning. The last night we ate at Trattoria da Luciano a Priora, another gastronomic delight with the service to match. This is situated down a flight of stairs next to II Borgo which cannot be missed on the way down. There is a beautiful little Catholic Church opposite if you are looking for a Mass to attend on Sunday.
The local shop, which adjoins II Borga is small with limited choice but serves a purpose. Here you will be able to purchase bus tickets into Sorrento too. The largest supermarket is in central Sorrento, which without a hired vehicle could be slightly problematic if the bus is the only mode of transport you have to rely on, as the busses are busy. There are taxi’s available but as mentioned on some of the other reviews, taxis are expensive, we paid between 45-50 Euro for a one-way journey. Which for a 20-25min journey is excessive. They also evidently only want to be paid in cash and get a little grumpy when we paid by card on one occasion. We spent most our time in central Sorrento, which has so much to offer and great restaurants. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Marylise and would highly recommend just for the views alone but also if you do not want to be in the hustle and bustle of central Sorrento.

El millor és la terrassa i les vistes sobre tot per la nit.
Els llits son molt còmodes i les habitacions grans.
Hi ha dos banys complets amb dutxes molt correctes
Hi ha moltes escales per arribar a l'allotjament. Aparcar no és fàcil i està una mica lluny del centre.
El menjador -cuina comparativament amb les habitacions no tenen vista i poca llum i hi ha un sofa llit per dues persones.
