Maresia - Front beach - Quarteira

The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The linens were so clean. The location was perfect. Restaurants all around, view of the beach, on the beach in fact. The facilities were clean and accessible. The staff were very responsive. Everything we asked for something, they came to provide immediately. Thery were always nearby. The kitchen was fully equipped. The washing machine in the bathroom was a godsend and so convenient. The 2 balconies, one in the back overlooking the parking area and one in the front overlooking the beach and promenade were very spacious and great for drying laundry, having breakfast upon waking and stargazing. There was a man busking on the promenade with various air instruments in the evenings which we could hear from the balcony. The promenade was smooth for the disabled and safe to walk day or night. There were shops for everything you need to buy all up and down the promenade. The food in the restaurants was delicious. There were beach shelters with thatched roof, each with 2 beach chaise longue which could be rented all along the beach. There were lifeguards every few hundred feet. Just fabulous.

Small comment that we did not get a shower chair as promised. For a disabled person who needs help showering this is a must and so the shower is only suitable for one person who is able bodied. No bars, no chairs. Some shower gel, body wash and a shelf or two with these in the shower and most other places we have rented would be a really nice touch.

Localização

Der Ausblick und die Lage sind einfach unübertroffen. Sehr gute Restaurants direkt vor der Türe, und eine kleine Bäckerei ca 300 Meter entfernt für den Kaffee am Meer. Wirklich ein Traum. Der Vermieter war selbst vor Ort und war sehr fürsorglich, und es wurde in der Woche Bettwäsche und Handtücher ausgetauscht. Besteck sollte vielleicht einmal aufgefüllt werden, ansonsten war alles vorhanden. Und es war echt sauber. Taxi und Busse sind eine Straße weiter, so das man auch ohne Auto überall hinkommt. Der Strand war sehr sauber. Für Rollstuhlfahrer nicht geeignet.. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kann es weiter empfehlen. Danke das ich da sein durfte.

Es wurde in der Zeit im Haus laut umgebaut, wofür niemand was kann. Und man eh meist den Tag unterwegs war.

Manque d'équipements (couverts, passoire...) Présence de blattes ! Stationnement difficile Mauvaise qualité de rénovation (nous sommes restés bloqués par une porte défaillante). N'appelez pas la conciergerie, personne ne répond !
