Focus Hotel Premium Kraków

Modern, clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, and a good breakfast. We also appreciated that they prepared takeaway sandwiches for guests who needed to leave early or continue their journey.

The walls and ceilings are very poorly soundproofed, so you can hear almost everything from the rooms above. We were moved to a different room after the first night because of constant loud banging, but unfortunately the second room was also noisy, with what sounded like furniture or cleaning equipment being dragged across the floor early in the morning. It was not possible to get a cappuccino from the espresso machine at breakfast. Parking is very expensive and not included in the room rate. The hotel is located next to the railway line, and train noise can be heard from the rooms.

Beautiful sparkling-clean hotel very close to the motorway and the sanctuary. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful (especially the lady at the front-desk very welcoming and knowledgable). Interior nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed. Wide variety of food for breakfast, everything fresh. Gym was nicely equipped, very nice that the hotel has sauna.

Besides closed windows we were able to hear all trains clearly. Some of them passing by even during the night. Making windows more soundproof could be the solution. Sauna was cold once we arrived- we had to figure out how it is working and then to wait until it warms up- it might have been done upon our arrival. We would prefer sauna to be open for all not privatized- we found it a bit exotic. We were lucky to find a spot available to use it but I would be very unhappy knowing that sauna is there and is fully booked.
