AWESOME FOR HIKING AND BIKING ON THE LAND, GREAT TRAILS AND AMAZING VIEWS!

The Rockfish River runs through the land and is in the backyard, down the hill from the cabin, less than a 5 minute walk to the river
When 2 guests are staying at the cabin (ie. Husband and wife) only 1 master bedroom is prepared.
The cabin is tucked into the forest, it is so peaceful and private. There are trails for walking, hiking or biking to the Rockfish River. The cabin is on its own 100 acre property with many sites to see: wide open meadows, peaks, riverfront ponderosas, rock walls, white tail deer and many beautiful views of the Rockfish. Great for groups, couples or the solo adventurer.
THE SPACE
Dovecotte is a charming, modern cabin with a spacious open floor plan, large back deck, and covered front porch. With no neighbors in site, you have utter piece and privacy, yet only a few minutes to the vineyards and breweries. Designed for a vacation rental, this cabin is made with highest quality materials all the way to the smallest details such as fine linens and durable kitchenware. The beds have brand new, high quality memory foam mattresses. Available for use is a weber grill, outdoor camp fire-pit along with Adirondack chairs. All furniture and appliances are brand new. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and all linens are provided. There is a 44" TV, wireless internet, and a Bluetooth speaker for music. Every effort was made to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible

We are not too far from the log home. We are available by phone day or night to answer all questions. We have excellent care takers who can help with any immediate needs!

The location and cabin are "beautiful"! We had a very relaxing vacation which was SO needed. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location and we slept so well all 5 nights. We enjoyed walking to the river during the day and sitting by the fire pit at night. On our last day while we were sitting on the porch my wife said "this is the location and cabin that I would love to live in when I'm retired". (Which is only a couple years away) Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us, we're looking forward to coming back again 😀

We had a great time, super clean, beautiful setting and very private. We also loved the Rockfish River just down the hill and hiking around nearby.

My wife and I were wanting a retreat away from city life. We got what we wanted. The river in the back is a pretty view. The night sky is clear and you can pinpoint several star constellations. The woodwork is beautiful inside and is exactly what I was looking for in a cabin(Instead of the standard interior of a house). Cons- some doors don't shut or automatically shut due to the door jam.Water pressure isn't the best, my wife had a hard time rinsing her hair after washing and conditioning.-per the host, trash disposal is left to the people staying at the cabin. Host did list where to dump the trash out at a near by dump. Unfortunately the dump was not open on the day (nor the next day) check out. So we drove 3 hours with our trash in our SUV.Recommendations to the host-add a pressure booster to the water system.-add a 4x4 post on the corner before the gray house with 474 on a arrow sign-add to the property listing that it may be hard for a 2 wheel drive car may have some difficulty entering/exiting the drive way during inclement weather. (We have a new bronco and didn't have any issues, it's just for future people staying at your cabin.-add a large skillet to the pot n pan set.-add the hours and days of operation for cove Valley lane dump in the check out process of the listing.Overall a great experience and great location!!! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful cabin in the woods!I will be coming back during future get-a-ways
