La Grange

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal da. Der Host hat uns bestens informiert und alle Absprachen haben bestens geklappt. Es gibt in dieser Ferienwohnung viele Kleinigkeiten, die das Leben einfacher machen wie ein Roboterstaubsauger und eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche.

The place is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped

Had issues with the wifi and shower head

The keys are in a box easy to get at any hour , the place is very clean spacious and in a great condition

There is no AC, there are ventilators

The room facility were good in general (except, facilities for hot weather were not satisfactory - no air conditioner and only weak fans). Location was also good with parking space. The host put some town guide which was nice, but the host never showed up to greet or check up on us while they must have known we had troubles during heatwave.

Our stay was during the heatwave and the host didn’t prepare or care enough for the guests staying in the very hot room. It was quite challenging coming back to accommodation super heated. We needed to spend time to make it cooler as much as we could be closing windows when outside air is still hot, then bring in the cooler air only after outdoor air cools down around 9-10pm onwards. Bedroom and the bed itself was still hot when we went to bed, so we got an idea from online and made bottles of water frozen, then wrapped the frozen bottles with towels and bring them into the bed. It helped a lot to put us in sleep. There were two small fans but unfortunately they were not powerful enough. This accommodation is spacious and clean with good facilities, so staying in the cooler or cold seasons may be nice. But during summer time when heatwave may come, I recommend to stay somewhere else with air conditioner.
