The Marina Villa de Sonja

The Marina Villa de Sonja offers tranquility, security, and accessibility. Located in the heart of Ocho Rios, this gated community is peaceful and serene, well maintained, and close to major attractions like Dunnes River Falls, Blue Hole, and Green Grotto Caves. And if you love quality Jamaican food, there are great restaurants nearby like Scotchie's, Sharky's, and Plantation Smokehouse. Since the staff prioritizes customer service, they are accommodating, courteous, and helpful. All guests are assigned an on site concierge who is there to assist in any and every way. Ryan was extremely approachable and resourceful. Because of these benefits, our stay at the Marina Villa de Sonja was truly enjoyable and memorable. Whenever, I return to Ocho Rios, this is where I will stay.

Fantastiskt läge, trevligt och lugnt område. Stor, mycket rymlig och välplanerad villa. Bra med torktumlare och tvättmaskin. Nära till välhållen pool och strand. Husets husskötare Ryan var hjälpsam. Trevlig uteplats.

Trots att vi många gånger tog kontakt med boendet så fick de aldrig varmvattnet att fungera. Det var 20 - 24 grader celcius. Vi lämnade huset en dag tidigare och bokade en natt i Montego Bay för att vara rena och fräscha inför lång flygresa hem. Utrustningen i köket var väl slitet och borde fräschats till. Huset har en fantastisk potential men skulle må bra av en uppfräschning .

Responsive staff, always available for ANY questions. Ryan, the manager on ground gave nothing short of exceptional service. Our family enjoyed the pool and the private beach is literally two steps from the pool. I like the shower stalls next to the steps from the beach, this makes it so much easier to get rid of sand coming back to the villa. My wife and I enjoyed the gym and quiet and friendly neighborhood for morning runs even outside the gated community. We also had Ryan arranged for a personal Chef Thompson, made authentic Jamaican meals for the entire family and even made exceptions for the kids with pancakes and eggs. I want to say special thanks to Maria the property owner, that made our experience possible with quality customer service! We will be staying again!

Security at the gate could use better shift change information exchange on guests check in.

the swimming pool was open all night and I was able to teach my daughters how to swim in peace . the surrounding scenery is beautiful and security guards made us feel safe to sleep at night. When internet wasn’t working, Ryan had fixed it for us asap. thanks Ryan!
