The property has an amazing view of the lake, also the main house where the reception is is very nice.
The building where our room was was not the nicest, and you can hear everything from the other rooms. The bed was ok but the pillows were very bad, although we asked for two more and they were super kind to bring them to us. Also the bathroom has a smell. We had to sleep with the windows open. Also the shower was very hard to manage but it had hot water and good pressure.

Our room, the presidential suite, was lovely, just like photos. The views from bedroom were amazing. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. The people were lovely. Sandra and Laura were so sweet. Breakfast was plentiful and good.
Our room did get very warm as it faced the sun. No ac just a fan. No black out curtains but we knew to bring sleep masks. Hotel is in the country so lots of little bugs and tiny ants. Flooring could be fixed.

The lady who runs the place, is easily the loveliest person i met on my entire trip round Colombia.
The views are amazing just like the pictures.
I hired a kayak to go out on the lake, which was very tranquil.
Bus station is about a 10min walk away.
I did enjoy the novelty of having a bath out on the balcony
Breakfast was nice but so so small. I was still starving!

Great place to stay - we liked the view over the lake and being close to the amazing birds in the area - the bath on the terrace was agreeable too especially with the afternoon sun
Perhaps more coffee at breakfast
