About this house rental
Oleander Holiday Home is perfect for families wanting to experience the best of the Whitsundays. The location is simply perfect, just a 2 minute stroll to the main street of Airlie Beach where you will find the famous Airlie Beach Lagoon, Woolworths grocery store, many shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife.
Cool off in your very own private pool or enjoy a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the Coral Sea and Whitsunday Islands beyond.
With three spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Oleander comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The home is fully air conditioned with ceiling fans for your comfort. Each bedroom has a king bed (one of which can be split into two singles on request).
Please note our properties are fully self-contained with full kitchens and laundries. Linen & bath/pool towels are supplied with beds made up, along with a starter kit of tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, milk, and detergents, etc (to get you through your first night).

The house was amazing! It was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed spending time at the pool and overall had a great stay.

The house was beautiful and we were impressed as soon as we stepped through the doors. Location was great if you have a car - 2 min drive to Woolies and the main strip of restaurants with the beach right behind. Amenities were great. Beds were comfy, master and living area was spacious.
A few small things to mention:
1. There are a lot of steps/stairs so if you are travelling with small children/toddlers you will always need to keep an eye out
2. Pool is not heated, it was quite cold on a 26 degree day, however still a nice refreshing dip
3. No hand soap in the bathrooms (or sanitiser) so we had to buy some (just pointing out given covid)
4. Portacot and high chair is listed as an inclusion however I was asked to pay an deposit for each item (they didn't charge me in the end) but the portacot is not very stable and has little support at the base. I couldn't find the high chair.
5. Small ants everywhere particularly in the kitchen
6. Stove and hot water stopped working and we realised the gas was out. The property manager was able to get someone to come out to check within 10 mins so that was helpful.
Overall we still enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this house.
