I stayed with family and this space was perfect for us. Great location and easy access to the beach while also feeling secluded at the same time. The ocean views are stunning when you'd rather rest and relax. We appreciated the full kitchen and open living room space so we all had lounge room when spending time together. There are a lot of stairs so be advised if you have any mobility issues. Communication with the host was easy and prompt responses were appreciated.

View and front room are amazing! Area it is located is excellent! Could be updated a bit - still has carpet in some areas and since it’s dog friendly it’s not super clean. But those areas are mainly bedrooms. Need some hot pads. Lots of stairs but we didn’t mind because it gave us a work out! Overall a very great home! I’d rent again.

A spacious well-appointed house with great gathering areas and amazing views of the ocean. 5 people and 3 dogs had plenty of space to stretch out. The local deer population is adorable as the neighborhood pets! We also enjoyed the short walk to the trailhead and the hike The Knoll and God's Thumb.
The Less-Than-Ideal I wouldn't recommend this house for those with mobility issues or a young children since you have to park about 2/3 of the way up and walk up the last part of the very steep drive to enter the main floor, or you have to enter at the basement level and walk up a lot of stairs. It is also quite a walk to the beach and a drive to any form of entertainment or restaurants in Lincoln City. That said, we planned ahead and made most of our meals in the awesome kitchen, so there is that! The 2nd issue is cleanliness: overall, the house is clean, but it's clear there have been some doggie accidents by the very stained carpet. I am a super-smeller and travel with a cleaning kit and we realized quickly that our very well house-trained dogs were picking up scents so we were vigilant to make sure they didn't have accidents.
Finally, the rental company communication was terrible. The contact info is blank and they neglect to mention that information comes from "GuestExperience" that ends up in a spam folder. We only got into the unit since the maid left the door unlocked and then we called to get entry info. Very stressful start to our vacation!
