Stylish and quirkily decorated island home coming with lots of art.
Traditional, renovated holiday house with a big fully private interior courtyard and balcony. Nice combination of tradition and modern comfort.
Lovely sea view, in the old town, very quietly situated on a street without cars. Skopelos is the island of the musical “Mamma Mia“
This beautiful old townhouse is very quietly situated, in the midst of the old town in picturesque surroundings. The access to the main -parking- road has 50 steps and is therefore car-free.
The house provides 80m² of living space and is suitable for two people. It is accessed through a big quiet walls surrounded and secure courtyard, with BBQ, tables chairs and sunbed sofas. You enter into the spacious living room on the ground floor. A breakfast counter separates the living room with a fireplace, a sofa and a lovely old dining table from the lovely kitchen, with quality appliances including a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. The ground floor has a bathroom with a shower, a WC, a beautiful washbasin and decorative mirrors.
Opens stairs lead up to the fabulous bedroom with four windows, wooden ceiling beams and another fireplace. The room spans the whole upper floor. The windows look out towards the sea and the mountains. There are cupboards and drawers built into the wall. The double bed measures 160 x 200 cm. A silent ceiling fan hangs above the bed.
The whole house has air conditioning with a warm and cool function. An imaginative decoration and tasteful furnishing make this house homely and inviting and create a feeling of coziness and privacy.
Two balcony doors lead from the bedroom out onto the traditional wooden balcony, affording a wonderful view of the sea over the rooftops as far as the harbour. The courtyard has a big terrace with a grill, so you can dine outdoors and enjoy sunbathing and relaxing. There is at any time a shady spot. Marvellous parfume is coming from the lemon tree and the fragrant jasmine in front of the house. You can park on the free, public car park above the house and the access road.

Située en hauteur de la ville blanche (attention aux marches !) donc éloignée du bruit cette maison nous accueille avec ses couleurs dignes de la demeure de Frida Kahlo. Tout y est Aussi soigné que chez soi... la clim en plus pour les nuits chaudes !
Un scooter est conseillé pour visiter l’île.

The property is in great location, 5 minutes to the lively harbour front and 10-15 minutes on foot to the closest beach. We hired a scooter to explore the lovely green island with its many stunning beaches. The property is truly beautiful. We especially loved the large airy bed room and the very tasteful decoration. The exterior spaces are magnificent with great views. Kathleen was very helpful with tips and recommendations. The property is very well looked after and was perfectly cleaned weekly. We can highly recommend this property for a lovely holiday.

This property (Kyria Florence) is lovely, based quite high in the town of Skopelos and only minutes walk to the port and surrounding shops and restaurants.
The house is a loved and beautifully decorated residence of its owner Kathleen, who is very communicative, superbly helpful and ensures a seamless rental including being met at the port of Skopelos and shown in and around the property.
We went in late July, the weather was pretty hot, and the house does get warm, but has good aircon on the upper floor and the bedroom.
The kitchen is well equipped and facilities are superb. The best aspects are the views and also the private and very secure courtyard at the front.
The neighbours are extremely quiet and overall it is a very peaceful and restful place. The only thing to note is the walk to the town while short is steep with many steps and so the climb home in the heat can be a little hard work! There is an accessible road for a parked car or moped close to the property and slightly further up the hill.
Even part of this home rental was brilliant and Kathleen has a personal touch that makes it even better!
