A pleasant experience in Trebinje

It was a pleasant apartment close to the city center. There was a patio where you can dine outside. We arrived at the apartment quite late (around 23:00) but the owner was waiting for us in front of the building.

The owner didn't speak a word in English. We couldn't have communicated if we hadn't used Google translate. We arrived at the apartment quite late (around 23:00) but the owner was very strict about the checkout at 10:00 the next morning. She appeared at 9:30 around us while we were having breakfast with some clean sheets for the apartment. She shouldn't be there before 10:00 and she would have been more tolerant for our checkout time.

Hotel Quality

I booked the ground floor apartment that is divided into an entrance, kitchen, and bedroom. This hotel-style apartment comes with a smart TV and window with a view of the property's yard, nearby houses, the sky, and more. There are air conditioners in the bedroom and bathroom that have heating options. The bathroom is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped. It is convenient that the door leads straight outside. The neighborhood itself is generally peaceful. Neighbors' dogs are either chained or caged. There is at least one chain supermarket in the neighborhood. You can probably take a brisk walk to the center of town in about 15 minutes, and what is nice about the path is that it is fairly one-directional and still connected to society, not isolated nor surrounded by woods. In other words, there are people, cars, and stores along the way. Plus, the views are breathtaking. The friendly host was available on time for checking in. She was also on time for checkout, and she kindly offered a ride to the bus station. In fact, she was very responsive via messaging throughout the stay as well and is perhaps the sweetest woman you will ever meet. It is also convenient that she lives in the same building. It is not very common to come across great apartments like this one. If you ever find yourself in this charming town, do not hesitate to stay here!

One of the best accommodations I ever stayed since I have started cycling the world 21 years ago every summer and autumn. This is my first time here, and there will second, third, forth etc..

The owner is very friendly and willing to help, but she doesnt speak any EN. Alternatively she uses skillfully Google Translate.

Excellent stay in Trebinje, wonderful host!

Excellent place to spend a night or more in a very interesting city in Bosnia. The host was most welcoming and helpful (even if she did not speak English, we got along very well), the apartment was great - very clean, roomy and modern. We had the lower floor apartment so we had access to a nice little space outside, next to the garden, with a table to spend the evening and mornings. Please take into account that the apartment is not very close to the city center, it's best suited for a car trip or if you like walks, of course.
