Indulge in your next trip to the coast with a stay at this luxurious oceanfront condo six blocks north of Newport’s Nye Beach. Not only will you enjoy panoramic ocean views from your cliff-top location—you’re walking distance to evening entertainment at the Performing Arts Center and stellar Nye Beach shopping and dining. The spacious living room has plenty of seating on modern leather couches, lovely decor, a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV/DVD. A sliding glass door gives you fantastic views and access to a large covered balcony that includes a dining table and chairs for al fresco meals or a glass of wine at sunset. The dining room indoors seats six and it’s easy to prepare wonderful meals in the fully equipped, upscale kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances and a gas range.

This home is a terrific place to take other couples because of the privacy of two primary suites and a third bedroom with its own hallway bath. One king primary suite has a sitting area with ocean views as well as a beautiful bath with a walk-in shower and access to the outdoor balcony. The other has a Walk-in shower. There is an elevator at the condo that makes its second-floor location easy to reach. There’s beach access from the home down a trail along the bluff; there’s easier public access close by at Nye Beach. All the exciting activities of Newport are an easy drive across town. Book some time at this luxury condo and relax as you watch whales by day and see the Yaquina Head Lighthouse shine by night!

This is a wonderful condo. With great views, large comfortable seating in the living room, loaded kitchen, and large bedrooms and bathrooms, it met out needs and more. We liked how the three bedrooms are laid out, separate from the other.

Beautiful condo , loved the beach theme decor tastefully done. All the beds were comfy, the suites were beautiful with a view, heated floors, one had a TV, one did not. I could not find a cheese grater, no saran wrapOr ziplock bags, we bought some cheap at Walmart. Lots of good games, everything worked well. Lots of coffee shops and several restaurants really close by. Would recommend….. check in is very late 4pm and check out 10am.

Lovely views! We were three generations of adults, so the private space was almost as important as the shared space. Very family friendly. We always started our mornings on the balcony just each bedroom began moving. How nice that was. We'll have happy memories for years.

This condo is an end unit with a good view of the ocean. The location is quiet which we appreciated. The path down to the beach is not good but it is not far to walk a few blocks to Nye beach and enter from there. The condo was very nice and having two master bedrooms was a great feature. The beds are very comfortable as well. The kitchen has everything you need plus more! If you have kids, make sure you go to the Hatfield Marine Center. It is close to the Aquarium. Going there was unplanned for us and it ended up being the best part of our trip to Newport!

The apartment was perfect for us. It was just my daughter and me. We loved that each of us had a master suite. The views are spectacular, just like the pictures. The kitchen is beautifully equipped. Loved the fireplace and heated bathroom floors. This is a well loved home and it shows.We explored the coast and had a glorious time. We visited Thor’s Well, Devil’s punchbowl, the lighthouse, Haceta’s head and other stops along the way. The sunsets are spectacular. This was a perfect break for us. Thank you.My only small complaints would be that the towels had stains but when I brought this to the property manager’s attention they delivered more towels than we could have used.

This is a lovely property. The views of the sea are fabulous!The kitchen has everything we needed, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and comfortable. We loved having the fireplace on as we watched the blustery days and ocean waves. We also enjoyed putting a jigsaw puzzle together on one of the rainy days.

My husband and I stayed here with two other couples, lifelong friends. This house has a beautiful view of the ocean although no direct access to the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The three bedrooms are all very comfortable and each of us had our own bathroom. We were in walking distance (a couple of blocks) to the Nye Beach shopping/restaurant area. We would all stay here again and highly recommend it to our other friends.

This condo is stunning! The pictures are accurate and it was very clean. We only stayed for one night, but the condo was in a great location. My only issue was that for the price and cleaning fee, we thought the checkout protocol - having to strip the beds, take out the trash, and start laundry - was too much to ask.

We were impressed by how well stocked the condo was, its cleanliness, and its spectacular views of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable as well. As beautiful as the view is, there is no immediate access to the beach(the photos are rather deceptive). Our flight had been cancelled and rebooked from a 4.5 hour flight to a 101/2 hour flight, so I missed a message from Meredith saying our check in was delayed last minute. It was moved from 4:00 to 5:30. Our family had to be at a very important once in a lifetime family wedding related dinner that night at 6:00, so that was not okay. Keeping a check in time is important for a lot of reasons: events, tired travelers needing to rest, and the integrity of the management company. Meredith was apologetic and via a call, gave us a late check out. I then received at reminder that we had an 11 am check out. I texted back and said we did not. The communication at Meredith needs to be improved. I told them that we had already taken them up on the late check out. My hope is that they will not charge us. I think it was the least they could have done to make up for the check in fiasco. If you ever have an event upon arrival at a Meredith property, my advice is to call and tell them to make sure your rental will be ready at 4:00.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Somewhere at the Beach. The condo is new, luxury and is exactly what is desrcibed in the listing. The bathrooms in 2 master suites are huge! The view is unforgettable. The neighborhood is very quiet. Checking in and out were easy. It is a quick walk into town to get to Nye beach, although I wish there was a private staircase leading to the beach. All in all, we loved the place. Thank you for sharing your beaitiful place with us.

The property was as pictured. It was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean. I would have no problem booking again through Meredith Properties. Thank you for a perfect stay. VRBO no longer gets involved in the rental process. They do not facilitate payment, so you have two entities coming after you for payment and neither knows what the other has been paid, which is highly inconvenient. If there's a problem, it's not VRBO's problem. Their "customer service" is non-existent, and simply refers you back to the owner/manager. Everything goes through the owner/manager. Given that change, I see no reason I wouldn't simply book through the local manager. I fully intend to return to the Oregon Coast, and next time (in Oregon or anywhere) will be booking locally in the future.
