The kitchen was not what it was described to be. The sink was tiny and almost unusual. The stove was very small and very very sparsely equipped. There were no cupboards or drawers at all.. There was a tray with forks and knives but no spoons. There are utensils just laying on the countertops But they were very random. It was difficult to navigate in the kitchen Lucy it was yeah camp cowboy..

Two things were not as promised...Internet was very spotty at best & the check-in process was not smooth. Location was great & the cabin was very clean.

We had a fabulous time at the Palisade Cabin. Karen and her family were welcoming and very nice. We had a couple problems (Wifi didn’t work, didn’t have extra garbage bags, back door wouldn't deadbolt or shut). The property was beautiful, deer everywhere, and literally across the street from the state park. Only complaint I have is the pictures and description are outdated and a little deceiving because there wasn’t free charcoal, a paddle boat, or any kids toys in the basement. Perhaps just update your pictures and description to match what is actually there. Other than that, would highly recommend this property!

The surroundings were lovely. The air conditioning and heating worked well.. There were plenty of chairs and tables and the couches were comfortable. The only bathroom was downstairs but that was as advertised. The kitchen area was kind of a joke. There were no drawers or cabinets and the utensil tray was sitting there with some knives and forks but no spoons. There were 5 cereal bowls and paper plates. A stove was tiny and the fridge was small. The sink was smaller than most bathroom sinks and at a very odd angle to try to wash anything. It was kind of like kind a small bar area. There were no mixing bowls or anything of that nature nature. This kitchen was not stocked with necessary items. The owner did live next door and when we asked her she brought over things we asked about. The Wi-Fi is not existent so do not plan on using that. I think it is shared with the owners house and it just does not reach the cabin at all. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the kitchen really took it down a notch.
