Great location and view

Building work going on next door apartment all week.

We were only one couple but we booked this three bedroom unit because of its beachfront location and reasonable price. The master bedroom was beautiful with access to the beach and you can listen to the crashing surf. The other two bedrooms were quite small. They would have been fine for kids, but for say two couples sharing there would be some debate about who gets the good bedroom. The apartment is old, but generally well renovated and reasonably well equipped. There were a couple of small issues, but they didn't affect us and we just reported them when we checked out. La Pineda is a great spot. Easy access to the historical sights in Tarragona. Lots of restaurants and beach/tourist shops and a grocery store, pharmacy, bank etc. right across the street. On the ground floor was a nice, reasonably priced restaurant (there were cheaper ones but it is beachfront). Long wide beach, nice sand, warm water, nice boardwalk too. Beach was groomed each morning, which was a little noisy for a short time, but was then in a nice/clean state. We enjoyed the location of the apartment: One side of the beach is anchored by various hotels, so there are lots of people and more touristy things, including a water park and arcades. At this location the beach was less crowded and more locals. The other end of the beach is towards the port and has mostly more apartments. It was nice to sit on the large balcony and people watch - constant activity on the beach and boardwalk. Free parking on premises was nice and the check-in office is also in the same complex. We would stay here again.

We are family of 5 and we stayed for 6 days. Location of the apartment is excellent, just on the beach... view is fantastic. Apartment is very comfortable: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Nice restaurant in the building just on the beach with excelent paellas.

Nothing much that we didn't like... maybe only the fact that we booked "Deluxe Apartment" but when we came to the apartment building and picked up the keys we entered to different apartment which is actually published as "Three-Bedroom Apartment". Next day at the agency they told us that "Deluxe Apartment" doesn't have A/C so we decided to stay in "Three-Bedroom Apartment".
