Sydney CBD Park View 2 Bedroom Apartment

The apartment was located pretty much central to all of our itinerary locations. They are a bit out dated but in line with what you wpuld expect for the price range. Communication was great, the check.in process was easy, great trip.

Upon walking in, the scent in the foyer was suspicious. Over the next (nearly) two weeks of my/our stay, it got horribly worse for our over $2000 spend. Even though it was summer, the a/c in the lobby was ultra freezing! Why? To hid the rotten stench of the complex's garbage area. It was utterly putrid, and even the poor reception staff had to endure it, as they were right in front of it. Even called Oaks who own the building, but, nothing was done. Truly a 70s era apartment. Weird mouldy smell. Beds were super comfortable though. We ensured to keep it clean before we left for fear of the warning we received upon arriving. Inna was nice at first. When we had to schedule our second half of the stay, two days in another hotel before we could return, myself in a horrid state as I was in Sydney for a very heart-wrenching court case, so by the second week my emotions had taken a huge toll on me, the person arrived late to check us in! Not so much apologetic either. Particularly for the cash we spent. As it was stinking hot outside, we suffered the stink in the freezing lobby inside. Losing your keys will cost you as well, so, aside from the wreck I was from the court case I was enduring, we had the stress of fear of losing the keys. You see, the apt is self-managed, nothing to do with the stinky Oaks. If you are tall, good luck in the shower/bath. You'll be crouching down. For the amount we paid for that 70s era apt, we should have been charged 70s pricing! I'm sure those thousands could have been spent in a lovely vintage townhouse. But, it was location that we needed as the courthouse is literally across the road. We couldn't get to the airport fast enough on the day we finally could leave.

Highly recommended apartment. Near to city and transportation.

good location with beautiful view,but the Stayz website listed this apartment as 3 bedrooms(it changed now), we three couples came and found hard to decide who to sleep in lounge room,because the sofa bed was so uncomfortable, the only parking space was extreme small and narrowed by pallir,so I had to park my SUV on drive way(adviced by the owner),I was called to move my car in the early morning.
