About this house rental

There simply couldn’t be a more appropriately situated home base for conducting the campaign of your next great adventure then in the heights of the Savoy Villas #2D. The location places you in close proximity to the best skiing in the world, you’re 1 mile from Vail Village, and offers easy access to the many stores and restaurants of West Vail. There’s a private hot tub. It’s fashionably furnished and artfully decorated. Parking is a premium complete with garage for one vehicle plus a spot outside. Ease and excellence, convenience and contactless entry are key here at the Savoy Villas.

Recently remodeled, 3 bed, 3.5 bath property only one block from the free town of Vail bus shuttle. The well appointed dining room has seating for six, plus three bar stools. This comfortable accommodation has all the amenities of home, including a gourmet kitchen, flat screen TVs, DVD players and private washer/dryer. At Savoy Villas you are so close to the mountain you can almost reach out and touch it, yet you have the privacy you deserve in a private community set just a short distance up and away. Because your safety, health and well being are of vital importance to us, we are taking extra pre-cautionary care in maintaining the cleanliness of all our properties, including:

• Increased hand washing for all employees & use of disposable gloves and masks

• Employees will stay home if sick.

• Housekeeping has always used and will continue to use anti-viral disinfectants on applicable surfaces. including, but not limited to, counter tops, appliances, light switches and doorknobs.

• Use of a professional laundry service for the linens. They use special cleaning products that are effective towards eradicating viruses/bacteria, in addition to washing in high temperatures.

• Use professional tools, including microfiber rags, large and small brushes, melamine foam sponges, and floor mops with replaceable cleaning pads.

• High-touch areas are cleaned and scrubbed with every cleaning, including light switches, fan pull chains, remote controls, cabinet knobs, appliance handles, kitchen counters, etc.

• Guests can check in directly to home, avoiding contact with others.

The townhome has been recently updated, it's very comfortable and well appointed, and the spacious kitchen welcomed. Communication with the property manager was sub par, had to chase him up prior to our arrival to get a response to questions. Additionally, when we arrived it was apparent there were active rodents in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. I contacted the manager re the issue. Again communication was poor with the property manager. He offered cleaners to come by, as well as a pest control company, but neither eventuated. I recognize it was a holiday week, and folks are busy, but he offered their services, I accepted, and I never heard from me again. I had to clean and disinfect the kitchen every morning. In the end, I resorted to trapping the mice myself - not something I feel I should have to do, but appears there was not alternative. Liked the house, doubt I'd rent from this particular management company again.
