No Sleep!

The layout & location were superb.

The mattresses are so uncomfortable I had spring marks on my back. I had to sleep on the sofa after trying every other bed.

Location, helpful instructions in the property on how things work etc, where things are. spacious property.

Could have done with basics like oil etc, some items in the house were not clean on arrival.

While the location was good and propertygenerally clean, it was the small details which let it down.

Excellent location, close to beach and within easy reach of train station. Light, bright property and good to have downstairs toilet.

Oven was dirty - we’re glad we didn’t really need to use it. Not all pillows had protectors on. Property sleeps 6 but only seating for 4 around table and no space really for more, insufficient crockery and glasses for that number to have a wine glass each! Water heater was on but during second shower water started to run cold. Hopefully, these comments are helpful.

Location was great, very close to the beach and the town centre. Apartment had most of the basics, was clean and spacious.

A few details were missing e.g. basic cooking bits like oil, salt; a door mat and bath mat and it felt generally a little sparse. But it was all very functional and worked well enough for our stay.

Weekend stay

Lots of towels,comfy beds,lovely and warm.

Too few drinking glasses. No hairdryer( I bought one and left it there). Would be really nice to have had tea bags,coffe sachets,maybe a small milk. We arrived late at night and had nothing. After showering the whole bathroom floor was wet and splashed- shame as its a lovely room

Fabulous harbour house.

The house was just right size wise for us and Perfect location for what we wanted. A real home from home.

The beds were a wee bit hard and uncomfortable even with mattress toppers. Got home last night and I've just booked 10 nights for next july.

Great Location!

The flat was ideally located for fantastic beach and harbour walks and access to the beautiful high street. Parking was great.

We felt the flat needed a little upgrading and thus would have got a 10/10, excellent score.

Great place to stay to explore lovely Dunbar

I had been given the wrong key code but was able to contact the property who sent me the correct one very promptly.

Heating controls were a little confusing and we couldn't work out how to turn off the light on the upstairs landing...maybe an instruction folder or something for the house would be helpful..

Lovely break close to everything you need for a few days on the coast

Perfect location for access to facilities and walks. Beach almost across the road available except at high tide. You have whole section of the historic building so no noise either from or to neighbours. Didn't meet the hosts but their communication was helpful. Liked the separate heating controls in each room as one temperature difficult to find for the range of ages we had staying. Parking no problem which is another bonus.

We were disappointed with the level of cleanliness as it wasn't as clean as we were expecting. We had to clean the crockery and cutlery before we used it and buy dishwasher tablets as they weren't provided.

A Little Gem

Compact, beautifully clean house close to all local facilities and lovely coastal walks, highly recommend.

A mat inside the front door would be great, as when wet outside it was difficult to come into the house without making it dirty. Just a small suggestion.
