Comfortable apartment on the 3d floor (US floors) of a small building. Nice courtyard (to share with other renters) and individual parking (important detail in an area heavily crowded in summer months). 15 minutes (quick pace) from the beach in one direction and 15 minutes from the center of town and shops in opposite direction. The street does not have much character, but it has the great advantage of being quiet and removed from the hordes of tourists. Beautiful beaches (Cabourg and Houlgate) and promenade. Fresh fish market (caught during the night) everyday and huge local market under the 15th century Halles. The apartment is extremely clean and well-equipped with many closets, good beds, and plenty of window light; not fancy but highly functional. A good size, remodeled bathroom and an independent kitchen. Last point worth mentioning: The owner is very kind and helpful, attentive to details, and always willing to accommodate one's needs.
