About this riad rental
Large old Riad of 400 m2, bourgeois house restored respecting the authenticity of the place. Patio of 130m2 in Carrara marble and zelliges from Fez, extremely sunny, lush garden, marble fountain. Dome ceilings, old zouaqué wood, brick vaults, zelliges, tadelakt, finely chiseled stuk decor, remind us that we are in a real Riad Marrachi. Refined decoration, orientalist paintings, carpets, furniture and old objects. For your comfort, all the rooms in the Riad are air-conditioned (hot / cold) Internet wifi, sat TV in the living room and the suite, DVD HIFI, On the terrace deckchairs, caidal tent, ideal pool for cooling off after a stroll in the souks. The Riad's table is also famous, the cook (on reservation), is at your disposal to make you appreciate the traditional Moroccan dishes. Your stay at Riad Agdid is tranquility, luxury, authenticity. Located 1200 meters from Jmaa El Fnaa Square, near the Tinsmiths Square from Bahia and Badi Palaces. 2km from Amelkis and Royal golf courses. Parking in front of the door of the Riad.
Located within the ancient walled Medina, our 400 m2 (4,000 sq ft) Riad Agdid has been fully restored and retains the character of a traditional Moroccan home yet with all the modern amenities required to create an exceptional place to stay.
Our Riad is a luxurious and tranquil retreat away from the busy Medina yet it is 10 minutes walk from the renowned square Jmaa El Fna, the souks and the numerous historic monuments of Marrakech. 2 Kms away are 2 superb golf courses.
The courtyard (130m2 or 1,300 sq ft) is paved with Carrera marble and features a central fountain and a sunny garden area. Courtyards of this size are very rare in most Riads.
The rooms feature domed ceilings, vaulted areas in brick (a very traditional feature in Morocco). Finely carved wood, tadelak walls and intricate carved plasterwork are just some of the features that have created a true Riad. The property is further complimented by antique and modern furnishings, oriental paintings and traditional Moroccan carpets.
All our rooms are fully air-conditioned (reversible in winter). The Riad also has Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a DVD library.
The extensive roof terrace has both sunny and shaded areas, numerous sun loungers and a plunge pool.
Our resident cook creates a wide range of excellent Moroccan dishes for you to enjoy.
Riad Agdid is accessible by car direct to the front door, something not often found in Marrakech.

My colleagues were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. It was situated perfectly outside the medina and close to many key attractions. Lovely courtyard. The Host and careaker were friendly, however I must add the caretaker was especially accommodating. 'Rachida' was a very helpful on food and excursion planning. She also made great meals in the morning and evening.

Fantastic! Would definitely stay again! The caretaker Rachida is amazing she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. She attended to our every need and went out of her way to show us around the city and also helped us get the best deals at the souks. The food was wonderful! It is as advertised. Spacious, peaceful, relaxing and does have A/C! It was clean and seems well maintained for an over 100 year old ryiad. A real gem, a true Moroccan experience. When you are in the ryiad you feel like you leave the hustle and bustle behind and enter a peaceful relaxing space. Definitely would recommend.

Our two American families (four adults, four teens, five children) enjoyed three lovely nights in Riad Agdid. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and felt right at home in the beautifully appointed rooms. Stunning tile and design throughout! All was clean and comfortable, with lovely outdoor and indoor gathering spaces. The best part of the whole experience really was Rashida (the “house mom”), as other reviews have mentioned. She is warm, generous, and kind, the Moroccan older sister/grandmother that you always wanted, who showed us around the souks, helped us find places to eat, and prepared wonderful meals for us at the riad. We used Google Translate to communicate, as everyone only spoke French or Arabic, and sadly we spoke only a little French. We felt very safe and right at home. Thank you so much, Rashida and Armand!

Myself and three friends enjoyed a 5 day stay at the riad. The place is very spacious and very clean, easily located within walking distance of all of the Médina. Rachida, the house keeper is extremely hospitable and really made the overall trip just that much better.One thing to not is that the Wi-Fi only works in a small part of the riad.
