APARTMENTS EDEN - Regarda Travel

W apartamencie spędziliśmy 10 dni. Było idealnie! Mieszkanie jest duże i ma dwie łazienki. Największą zaletą jest ogromny taras z którego roztacza się piękny widok na jezioro i góry. W nocy widoczne są pokazy dronów i fajerwerków z pobliskiego parku rozrywki. Znajduje się ma drugim piętrze budynku przy samym kościele (chyba dawna plebania) co tworzy wyjątkowy klimat. Winda podjeżdża pod same drzwi. W okolicy restauracje i plaża. Do mieszkania przypisano jedno miejsce parkingowe ale zaraz obok jest duży parking publiczny więc nie było problemów z parkowaniem dwóch samochodów. Lokalizacja idealna jeżeli planujecie zwiedzić miasteczka nad Garda jak i Weronę czy Wenecję. W pobliskim Lazise jest Lidl i Spar na większe zakupy. W budynku obok kawiarenka gdzie codziennie kupowaliśmy świeże bułeczki i rogaliki. Kontakt z biurem bardzo sprawny na całym etapie planowania i realizacji rezerwacji. W trakcie pobytu przestał działać czajnik - nowy czekał pod drzwiami wieczorem w dniu zgłoszenia. Polecam z całego serca!

Podobało nam się wszystko! Jedyna rzecz o której warto pomyśleć to dodatkowy zestaw kluczy. Przy grupie 6-7 osób dałoby to większą swobodę, ale daliśmy radę 🙂

The main bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage, the second bedroom was a bit smaller but with an en-suite so that was good. Plenty of equipment/storage in the kitchen too. Location was lovely, in the grounds of the neighbouring church.

Some of the mosquito nets and shutters didn’t open, and we didn’t have the A/C working for a couple of nights but we got that sorted out. Location was fine, about 5km outside of Lazise. We had a car but I wouldn’t have liked to stay there without one. We were pleasantly surprised to find 5 or 6 restaurants next to the apartment so that was great. It was a 15/20 minute walk downhill to the lake which wasn’t so good on the way back up!! 😅

The apartment was large enough for our family of 3 although the beds in the second room were 2 single beds suitable for small children. My son is 6ft 1in and could not stretch out comfortably especially as it had an end board. Being against a wall and slightly rickety when moved, made it difficult to make each day. I also had to make the beds myself, which was not a good start after a long delay. Sheets were left in plastic bags for us to make the beds. The mattress was also very soft. The bathrooms were both large and clean with good showers. We loved the terrace as it gave many options for shade or sun with the awning and umbrella. If it was too hot, easy to go inside for a while. We loved the location for a week, SIFA Bar for breakfast was fab (had a good banter with the Italian owner) and a few local restaurants, some brilliant, Osteria, Antica and Le Ricette and one was just OK. Lovely little wine bar on the square which also sold ham and cheese platters and fab sandwiches. , If we were on a longer holiday we would be tempted to stay in a larger town such as Lazise or Bardalino. We took the bus to Lazise several times. The buses were good but often late. The beach and small supermarket were a 5 minute walk downhill. A lovely area where we had lunch on our first day. We didnt use the beach but it was very nice for those that would.

Our flight was delayed by air traffic control strike which meant we arrived at 5.45 am, outside of office opening hours. We didnt know until after we booked that we would have to go to the travel agents office to get the keys. The taxi from the airport took us there and we got the keys no problem as instructed. We thought the apartment was a couple of streets away but it was 7 mins drive away. The taxi took us to the wrong place in Lazise, not in Pacengo where we needed to be. Another hour later we managed to get another taxi to take us to pacengo with the help of a lovely local businessman. We then had to go back into the travel agent to sign the Contract. Given that we were very tired after no sleep for 36 hours and we did not have a car, this was very inconvenient. I understand it may have been simpler had our flight not been delayed but I don't think the travel agent put themselves out to help us. An accommodation with a host nearby would have been better. The lounge has only the one sofa and therefore more than 2 people could not sit down comfortably inside. A change of layout would be needed to accommodate another sofa or chairs.

Lake view is beautiful. Parking space is very good. The position of apartment is very good because you can reach in 7-8 min of driving Lazise city and Gardaland in 3-4 min of driving.

Extra paying for bed sheets, old and too plain furniture, especially on the terracres.. You have to be careful about price, cleaning fee is around 100 eur, and bed sheets are 20eur per person. Using of the electricity is limited and you have to pay extra if you want to use air conditioning. Very limited check-in and check out time. If you miss that periods you will pay extra money also. The rental agency will send you the very extensive rental contract but after paying of rent and you can be stunned regarding the contract conditions. We highly recommend to ask that contract before of paying.
