About this apartment rental
This is a 2 Bedroom corner unit centrally located in Snowshoe Village. The unit is slopefront with views of shavers lake and western mountain views from the corner bedroom. The condo was built in 2007 and has been recently renovated. There are 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, dining area, living room, and full kitchen with 2 temperature controls. Custom designed full kitchen, not a kitchenette like most on Snowshoe's rental program. Superior mattresses and bedding for a great night sleep after a long day on the mountain The condo is ski in/ ski out with elevators to the slopes and 2 private ski lockers on the main level. The building also has a private workout facility. The ski rental department is in the same building and ski school meets directly outside. Walk to anywhere in the village or enjoy the unbelievable views of the lake and mountains. Check in is 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 am.

This was our second stay and it was great! Easy in and out. Great location right in the village. Ski rental is in the building. Ski in and out. Easy, convenient, and fantastic!

This condo was perfect for our annual ski trip to Snowshoe. Plenty of room and right in the village. Our unit was just as it was listed and we will look for it next year.

The unit is pretty good, location is great. However it could use a thorough dusting and vacuuming but hate to knock it too much for that because it could be rectified easily - vacuum around mattress, bed frame and night stand. Scrub floor around toilets. The biggest issue we had was it was a very busy holiday weekend and we did not have hot water the first night until 11:30 PM. The next morning we had the same issue with no hot water until early afternoon. The back shower/tub had less hot than front shower stall. It seems as though, after multiple discussions with the property owner and the property manager of expedition station, there is a capacity issue with the centralized hot water system. We spoke with other people on the floor and they were experiencing the same problem. The property manager (Snowshoe employee) and owner indicated there could’ve been an issue with a valve in the system but ultimately the PM said it’s just an issue with capacity. The property owner was sympathetic but wasn’t able to do anything given the scope of the problem. I would’ve expected some discount from a high holiday rate. We just made it a point to get in a little early and take our showers before the masses. Also the heat did not work in our unit. This was a known issue and a space heater was brought into to rectify the problem. This was OK because fortunately it wasn’t that cold. This would’ve been an issue had the weather been as cold as it normally is. The furnishings are fine, this was probably in style when they built the place. But it could stand to be updated especially the beds that sit on a wooden frame on the floor, very inconvenient to get out of or in. He does have a new TV in the unit which is a smart TV with all of the latest apps you would expect. The kitchen is also well appointed if you plan to cook. WiFi was good. Bonus, Verizon has put up a local tower so you now get some cell coverage. If you were going to snowshoe for the first time, temper your expectations when it comes to accommodations, service and snow. If you’ve been to snowshoe, you know what I’m talking about.
