Great house, location, light and airy. Really lovely place with lots of room.

Wonderfully clean and equipped house for the family to get together (dogs included). Rooms are all lovely in decor and comfortable. Rooftops is in a great location, views to Appledore and walking distance to the shops. We mainly drove to Braunton Burrows & Saunton Sands for the dog walks as the beach is dog friendly all year round. Great location for sightseeing south or north of Braunton.
The only thing we noticed the circular chair was a bit uncomfortable not sure if is meant to tilt or if is broken. Or if it was something we were not used to. The dining chairs could do with some seat cushions but we did use the many choices of cushions from the sofas.

Well appointed kitchen and everything was extremely clean. The property hosts Liz and Bill were great at providing information and were super flexible and helpful for me.
First basket of logs should be included at this price. All other Self-catered locations I have used with log burners have provided the first basket for free.
The width of access lane is not the problem, although it is very tight. If you have a long vehicle it is not possible to line the vehicle up to go down the lane - either forwards or backwards. I was driving a new model Ford Ranger and the vehicle is longer than the width of the lane so it is simply not possible to get down the lane, even using the neighbours drives etc, going either forwards or backwards. As a result one has to source parking on the street which can be tricky as it is somewhat over subscribed.

Clean and tidy accommodation
The entrance to the property is via a steep narrow lane with no warning of width if driving a SUV or wider vehicle, which resulted in scratching my hire car !
