We love this iconic camp - set out in the lake where one only hears the loons and ripples of water. It is a simple place and it has some quirks - like you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the bathroom and if you're sharing with anyone other than a family member, it might be a bit too cozy, but if you are two or three who love the stars and the water and you're not looking for an upscale modified cabin, this is really a very special place. Very well equipped kitchen. Two kayaks to take out onto the lake. Puzzles and games. But above all, the screened in little porch that allows you to gaze at the sunrise, sunset and/or rising moon. A place for personal restoration amidst the chaos of our world.

SBLL11 is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Perched just feet from the shore of saddleback lake, it offers a stunning and peaceful view (especially at sunrise and sunset), privacy and quiet, and all the creature comforts you will need. We've stayed there for 3 summers and will be back next year

This cabin, at the very edge of Saddleback Lake, is a gem. The spacious screen porch is an oasis from which you can sit and stare at the lake endlessly -- watching it change as the day advances. The cabin also has a spacious modern kitchen. Bedrooms are OK. The cabin can comfortably handle 3 or 4 people in the two downstairs bedroom. Also two single beds in loft. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and a stunning, meditative view of the lake, this is your place.

It's a lovely cottage, and we really enjoy the large size kitchen as well as the front porch. We're looking forward to coming back.
