Sol de Minca Eco Lodge

Beautiful views from the terraces. Great ethos and nice hammocks and communal spaces to relax in. Generally a peaceful and relaxed hostel. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk through the jungle into town. Included breakfast was the standard eggs on toast with fruit. Helpful information provided at check-in.

Note the on-site restaurant was not open when we were there (I don't know if this is a temporary or permanent thing).

Amazing jungle eco lodge, set 20 minutes walk from town so it’s lovely a quiet and away from the loud blaring music and traffic of Minca Centre. Stunning view, amazing staff, beautiful shower and bathroom view, everywhere always super clean and tidy. Good WiFi in communal but doesn’t really work in the dorm room. Great hammocks. Definitely recommend!

Could do with some mosquito nets in communal areas so you can relax outside without being eaten alive and use the WiFi. Was a shame to have to hide from mosquitos in the dorm room sometimes

Great view and great for wild life we saw many amazing birds including a Toucan which was brilliant and not what we expected to see from our balcony , we also saw aguti

The steps from the road to reception were tough the steps from the eception / dining area were to our cabin. were tough - the steps from our cabin through through Jungle Joes to Minca were a killer and I really need to share this - it's not a 10 minute walk to Minc a It's more like 15 - doing it in the dark is not something we even contemplated - however the food on site is lovely so we lunched in Minc a and did a small up and down trip in the evening
