Escape to this modern luxury tiny home in Escalante, Utah near Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument and Scenic Byway 12. Perfect for couples, hikers, and small families, this stylish retreat features stunning desert views, fast WiFi, a full kitchen, Smart TV, washer/dryer, and a private outdoor space for relaxing under dark starlit skies. The Space:
Moon Lily at Escalante Escapes offers you privacy and maximizes its 400 square feet so you have plenty of room to be comfortable. It's built into the hillside just below our Lofty Escapes' models. You'll love the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and canyons!
The master bedroom features a queen bed, a flat screen Smart TV, a small desktop workspace that's convenient for working on a laptop or getting ready for the day, a place to hang clothes, additional storage space under the bed for luggage, and a thermostat for individual climate control.
The second bedroom is a small room with a built in bunk bed, storage under the bed, separate heating, and individual lights for each bed.
The bathroom includes a large glass shower with rain shower head, sink, toilet, hair dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap.
The kitchen and living room feature an open floor plan with a sliding glass door that opens to the deck, where you can sit and take in the incredible views. The living room has a queen-sized sofa sleeper, two lounging chairs, a hand-crafted coffee table with extra bedding storage, and large Smart TV. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen essentials, beautiful stainless steel appliances, a convection microwave oven for cooking and baking, a stovetop, a large refrigerator, a Keurig coffee machine, granite countertops, farmhouse sink, dishwasher and a table/prep island with seating for four.
Deck and exterior features include a propane BBQ grill, four large Adirondack lounge chairs, private fire pit, astounding views and breathtaking star gazing.
Each unit also has a small washer/dryer.

You'll have easy access to both scenic drives and hikes. Escalante has lots of restaurant options- Nemos, Escalante Outfitters, Big Bubbas, Chihuahua Garcia Mexican Grill are some local favorites.
What Makes The Grand Staircase Escalante Unique? The Grand Staircase Escalante is remote and less explored than all other national parks and monuments in Southern Utah. It offers some of the most breathtaking views of the state's colorful sandstone cliffs and narrow slot canyons. We wanted a tiny house experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Moon Lily. It was a nice place to stop and rest after a long day of travel. It feels spacious and the views are great. We would love to return some day.

Don't hesitate to book Escalante Escapes. Yes, it's small but was a cozy place for three of us in two bedrooms. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, with coffee maker and capsules, the washing machine and dryer, as well as the excellent internet, We used all these conveniences and would happily stay again.
The drive on Hwy 12 to Hell's Backbone Grill was beautiful so recommend Escalante as a less pricey alternative to the places closer to the restaurant.

A very welcoming, clean and comfortable space to be in for four days. After exploring the local trails and sights, it was so nice to come back to comforts of our own space. The fire pit was also a highlight to sit and chat with other family, roast smores and stargaze.
We rented the tiny house next door for my mom and brother, which allowed everyone to have their own space and time, as well as kitchens. Thank you for a lovely space! Tiny houses are AWESOME!
