Perfect for solo travellers with nearby events to attend

Easy outdoor parking, very friendly staff - the room had everything I needed, even a phone (sometimes missing in modern hotel rooms), super hot water, a heater that I could adjust manually directly on the heater itself, an interesting view from the sixth floor. For the people staying at my event, this hotel was considered the "luxury option". I didn't try the spa area or breakfast.

There was a USB port for charging devices, but it turns off if you turn off the reading light above it (not a complaint, but maybe useful for other travellers), the location was perfect for my event, but at least in winter it felt a little bit ... not bleak, but... not really a residential or lively area. I can imagine that a tourist travelling alone would be happier closer to the train station and downtown.

The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and a few shops nearby. For those who like to walk, it's approximately a 35-minute walk to the city center.There's on-site parking available for an additional fee of EUR 10 per night, which was really helpful. The room itself was good, and clean with a modern look. It could be a little bigger, but it was fine for one person. The room was equipped with a kettle, TV, small safe. There was also a little desk and a good-sized shower with a hairdryer. The staff at the reception and bar were fantastic and very welcoming. They were really friendly and happy to help with any questions.The breakfast was very tasty and had everything I needed, so I was quite happy with it.

The parking area isn't very secure as it has easy access with no fence. Plus, there are coniferous trees in the parking area that drop sticky bits on cars, so a carwash visit is needed afterward. The room had a double bed made from two singles, which wasn't great as you can end up on the floor between the beds, like I did. No fridge in the room.

no restaurant no feeling of that historic Heidelberg and Mannheim are less than 10 km away it is the most non personal place even by modernnGerman standards get in have your drink and go to bed sleep and disappear in your car at four star prices do not count on that your room is available even if you arrive as late as 7 pm and it is supppoaed to be available from 3 pm

Fine for a short stay

Check-in and check-out online were easy. The room was functional, the bed comfortable. Perfect for a one -night stay. The hotel is just a short walk away from the streetcar that takes you downtown.

The room was overheated. I had to have the window open - which I often do anyway - but it was still too warm.

But I didn't like value for breakfast, 14€ and then you have to stand in a corner and wait for a place to eat. Or just sit separate with other family's in order to leave in time.

Horrible staff

The staff is not nice at all. A blond girl started talking with her colleague in German, saying things about my friend and me when we asked for a bottle of water (as we didn't find any in our room) thinking that we didn't understand the language. Moreover, we had to pay for water. On the last night, I went down to the reception to ask for clean towels and shower gel (as it was over) and the guy that was supposed to be there for us clients, was having a relaxed conversation on the phone until the moment I freaked out and went outside asking him if he could basically do his job. Never gonna go back again.

I enjoyed my stay I will definitely go back to enjoy the SPA!!

The breakfast was good. But I must say that we arrived a bit late as we were driving from Switzerland however Antonio (I think that was his name) waited for us he didn’t leave although it was the end of his shift. It was really nice of him.

Great choice

Everything was ok, nice staff. The room was big enough with all facilities well prepared. I totally recommend this hotel. The hotel has good connection to Mannheim Central Station (tram 5, 5A) where you can reach other destinations by train. For example you can visit Heidelberg and its palace, full of history and eat in no 1 choice local restaurant named "Kulturbrauerei Heidelberg" (10 minutes by train from Mannheim central station)). Another destination to visit will be Baden Baden: here you can visit Frida Kahlo museum which is amazing, totally recommended (if you see the movie with Salma Hayek first, all paintings in the museum will be more interesting).Also you can visit the palace ruins if you are in the mood of taking a walk via forest. Baden Baden is round 1 hour by train from Mannheim Central Station.

friendly approachable staff. nice comfortable and clean room.

Would have been nice to have Netflix or the ability to stream to the tv from your phone. there was only one English speaking tv channel which was a news channel. location was great for Time Warp festival, although it is out of the way a bit for dinner options in the local area. you would need a short Uber or 40minute walk into the city. However there is options for delivery.
