Went for my birthday. The plan was to have dinner and see a movie on my actual birthday. However, I loved the property at Sand Castle SO MUCH that I did not want to leave it, even for a celebration of me. It's quiet, fully surrounded by forest. You can hear the ocean, birds chirping, and other lovely nature sounds. You DO NOT hear traffic or see/hear neighbors. In other words? Perfectly tranquil. Hot tub was fantastic. Loved having a bonfire AND an indoor fire. Beds were super comfy.
It is a little dated and could use another full bathroom (possibly main bedroom ensuite) but honestly, it met all of our needs and then some. I truly loved our stay and the only sad part was not being able to extend and seeing how popular it's become in future dates too.

It is a beautiful home. Quiet, private and close to beach and Westport. Plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable furniture. Really enjoyed our stay.
The house was not cleaned properly. Floors needed to be swept, vacuumed, mopped. Microwave and fridge were dirty. We cleaned and swept everything when we got there. Coffee was still in coffee maker. Towels were still going thru cycle in laundry. We notified management and sent pictures. Beds were clean and made. Hopefully they find new cleaning staff.
