Outdoor Recreation Opportunities: Our cabin is in an ideal location for abundant recreation opportunities in both summer and winter! Just out the front door and in 1/4 mile is the White River National Forest trail-head. This trail head accesses the Peaks Trail that winds for 10 miles to Frisco. Along the way are connecting trails, including the Colorado Trail. You can hike for miles from the front door! The same trail head accesses the Breckenridge Nordic Center Cross Country Skiing and snowshoeing trails; 30 kilometers of groomed and marked trails from beginner to expert. Mt. bikers can challenge themselves to some of the most grueling, climbing and challenging terrain in Colorado. Connections to the Breck Town Trail system make for miles of trails.

Town of Breckenridge : There is no better mountain town in Colorado for location, ease of access and skiing! The 1800's historic mining town of Breckenridge boasts some of the most unique architecture and history for a great vacation retreat. One walk down the historic Main Street and you will understand why Breckenridge is the place to stay in Summit County. Breckenridge is perched 9,603 feet above sea level, in a U-shaped valley, on the western slope of the Continental Divide. At approximately 11,500 feet, tree line is visible on the surrounding mountains. To the west are the 12,000 to 14,000 foot peaks of the Ten-Mile Range, and to the east and south is the Continental Divide. The Blue River, with its origins at Hoosier Pass (12 miles to the south), flows south to north through the center of Breckenridge before ultimately feeding into the Colorado River. The Town boasts world-class amenities for residents and visitors alike.
