Self-employed and cared for - 60 m² of quiet with private terrace
This old, typical for the region barn was lovingly renovated in 2018. The decoration reflects the lifestyle of the island of La Réunion to offer our guests a haven of tranquility.
Here you spend holidays in full nature and tranquility. The apartment is located in the barn independent of our main house. It can accommodate 5 people with every comfort.
The cooking area is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas / electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, kettle and coffee maker.
In the living / dining area is a flat screen TV, games and children's books and a large sofa bed (in addition to the 5 people, for 2 adults or 2 children).
In the bathroom there is a washing machine next to the shower, the toilet and the sink.
The children's room is equipped with a double-storey bed (bed down: 140 cm x 200 cm and the top bed 90 cm x 200 cm) for a maximum of 3 children.
The master bedroom has a futon bed (160 x 200 cm) and a small balcony with a view of our permaculture and the hazelnut plantations.
The private terrace with its own barbecue area invites you to enjoy and linger.
The shared use of the pool (10 x 5 m, with different depths from 1. 1 to 1. 5 m) as well as various water features and deckchairs is also given.

We had a marvellous two weeks at Les Courteaux, the gite had everything we needed and a lovely pool to cool down in.
Gerda and Dario could not have been kinder or more helpful, a really friendly and hospitable couple, who made us feel very welcome, I would not hesitate in recommending it as a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Nos hôtes, Dario et Gerda, ont pensé à tout dans le gîte.
Nous avons pu poser nos valises, partager un bel apéritif avec nos hôtes,qui ont pris le temps de nous connaître afin de nous proposer visites et loisirs dans la région.
Le gîte était parfait pour notre famille, la piscine idéale pour les enfants, la propriété est entourée de verdure, composée de verdure, spacieuse, prône la biodiversité, est gérée à la fois en discrétion, bienveillance, gentillesse, disponibilité, et bien d'autres superlatifs.
Outre la piscine et les visites en journée, nous avons profité le soir du terrain de pétanque et du grand terrain pour jouer au foot, courir, puis finir la soirée avec des jeux de société fournis par Dario et Gerda.
En outre, chaque jour, ceux-ci nous ont proposé des légumes issus de leur potager bio.
J'oublie certainement ici des éléments, mais avant de conclure, nous avons d'ores et déjà "vendu" Dario et Gerda à famille et amis, sûrs que chacun y trouvera un plaisir au moins égal au nôtre.
Nous tenons à faire découvrir la France aux enfants et changeons donc de région tous les ans, mais nous retournons à Beaugas.
Nos plus sincères remerciements et amitié à Dario et Gerda.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et agréables tout au long de la semaine. Le gite est très bien équipé, notamment pour les enfants (jeux dans le gite et pour la piscine). Au niveau sécurité autour de la piscine, il y a des bracelets à mettre aux enfants qui déclenchent l'alarme si ils tombent. Nous étions détendu et avons passé de bons moments. Nous vous recommandons ce gite les yeux fermés.

What a lovely experience! Staying in Gerda and Dario’s charming converted barn with the open views of hazelnut plantations was the perfect relaxing holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous surroundings, the wonderful pool and the hosts’ hospitality (which included a lovely welcome drink and snacks as well as regular offers of veggies from the garden and very helpful tips from Gerda about local attractions and markets). The medieval towns and châteaux nearby provided ample stimulation for our cultural appetite. It really was just the most wonderful experience and we’ve already resolved that - during our next stay in France - it will be at Gerda and Dario’s charming place.
