LES TERRASSES de Cala Llevado

The view is gorgeous, and it is a short walk down the steps to several different coves. The nearest one is so close that it's easy to go swimming or snorkelling directly from the studio without packing a lot of stuff. The studio has the facilities needed to stay for a few days and to cook, and a camping supermarket within a few minutes walk is a plus. Comfortable mattresses and sparkly clean bedding. Good communication at check-in and help with other issues after that. The reserved parking space was in the garage, which was too tight for my relatively big car. I've got an alternative option, but it was on a slope where it is difficult to park without the right skills. Fortunately, there were enough other spaces to park a bit further from the property. In general, one has to realise that the property is located on the rocky outcrop, so driving on the steep slopes and walking up and down the stairs is unavoidable. But the view, the feeling that you are alone next to the sea when you sit on the balcony, and the choice of coves to explore without the crowds are well worth it.

The studio could do with more attention to maintenance and small details. It is functional, but felt unloved, which is a pity given the location, facilities, and the view. The key had to be picked up at the office in Tossa de Mar, which was something I missed in the description of the accommodation when booking.
